Chapter One

Ezra walked into the police office and looked around. There was cops everywhere and photographers trying to get in. He wanted to know where Aria was. She sounded so awful on the phone. She had said that she made a big mistake. But he had no idea what that meant. Did she kill Ali? No, he knew Aria she wouldn't hurt a fly. Let alone her best friend.

Mrs. Montgomry came storming up to him then. "I know why your here. I actually though you were a great man. But you're a discrase." She scolded.

Ezra was taken aback. He wondered why Aria would tell her without him there. "I'm in love with her."

"When Spencer's parents find out you're a dead man." She informed him.

He looked at her confused. Spencer, he thought he was with Spencer. "Mrs. Montgomry, i'm not-"

"Ezra." A whisper came from behind them.

It was Aria with two cops holding her arms. Mrs. Montgomry turned around to see her daughter. She opened her arms as to hug her but Aria didn't run to her. She ran straight into Ezra. She cried into his chest not saying anything. Mrs. Montgomry had never looked so mad. It looked like she was a bom ready to explode. Mr. Montgomry hadn't even noticed that Aria was in the room. Which was lucky for Ezra.

Ezra wasn't focusing on the craziness around him. He was too worried about the crying girl in his arms. "Aria, what happened? Are you okay?" She shook her head and he wipped the spare tears from her cheeks. He kissed her on the forehead. She wrapped her small arms around his waist and layed her head on his chest. As if no one else was in the room.

"Aria Montgomry!" Her mom screamed taking both Ezra and Aria out of their trance.

"Mom, We were going to tell you after I got back from the wedding. I'm so sorry I hid it from you. I- I'm just- I'm sorry." Aria tried to explained.

Her dad had joined the madness now. He looked much less furious than Mrs. Montgomry.

"Baron, can you believe our own daughter would do something like this? And right under our noses. I thought it was Mike we should be worrying about. Nope, our baby girl." Her mom ranted.

Baron just stood their thinking. "Honey, It's not illegal. I'm a little angry but, you love who you love."

Mrs. Montgomry got even more furious at this. The fact that her own husband thought it was okay was just horrible. "You know what. We have enough shit going on. I can't deal with this right now."

Aria was crying harder now. First she was framed for a murder, now her mom was pissed about her being with Ezra. What would come next?

"I should leave. I don't want to start something bad in your family." Ezra told her.

She turned to him and wipped her eyes. "No, please stay. I need you." She nodded and pushed Aria's frumpy, dirt-filled hair out of her eyes.

The cops came up to them then and said Aria had to go back to the room. She kissed Ezra goodbye and waved to her parents who were chatting with the other girls parents. Mrs. Montgomry didn't say anthing about Ezra to the other parents. Ezra stood there awkwardly. Patiently, waiting for the girls to be relased.
