HEAVENLY MOTHER
Yes, I do believe there is a Heavenly Mother, along with Heavenly Father. I can't imagine God being single. They say there is someone for everyone, and surely that includes God Himself. Surely, God has a right to be in love, just like the rest of us. And I imagine He's had Heavenly Mother's help in many things. I often wonder what the Mother is like, really like. If She's God's companion, She must be wonderful. So, I decided to write a little poem, dedicated specially to Her. If you don't agree with me, that's your opinion. You believe what you believe, but don't scorn me for my beliefs.

I wonder—
Why do we call Him
Our "Heavenly Father"?
Is it possible
That we may have
A Heavenly Mother, too?
She must be beautiful
Kind and loving
Infinitely wise—
Everything
That a true mother
Can and should be.
The gleam in her eyes
Must rival the stars;
The brightness of her smile
Must exceed the sun.
I wonder
If there was ever a time
When I lay in her arms,
My head on her heart—
Sometimes
I fancy I can hear
Her sweet voice telling me
How much she loves me,
How much she misses me.
If there truly is a Heavenly Mother,
Why is it
That we hardly ever hear of her?
In all the holy scriptures,
No mention is made of her.
Why?
I think I know.
The Lord's name,
Along with Jesus Christ's name,
Are abused right and left.
People are constantly
Taking God's name in vain—
They speak of the Eternal Father,
Of the Only Begotten,
In careless,
Inconsiderate,
Disrespectful tones.
But Father
Wished to keep Mother's name pure
Untouched,
Untainted.
Perhaps He kept her name concealed
From our knowledge,
So that we will not desecrate it.
