The first time I saw those eyes, those burgundy colored eyes;
my heart felt like it broke in half. I wanted to hold her close
and comfort her. When we collide together, too fierce and
competitive in battle over the Jewel Seeds, I knew I had to reach her.
I wanted her to understand, I wanted to be her friend. For the first time
she edged away from me, keeping those emotionless eyes trained on me.
I kept reaching out to her, holding out my hand and calling her name, hoping
by some miracle she would understand me.
The first time I saw those eyes, those burgundy colored eyes;
I felt loneliness beyond compare. Those emotionless pits of nothingness
and sorrow. I clench Raging Heart and vowed to bring her to the light and
show her compassion. We clashed for the same thing, reasons we had were
different but, that didn't stop me from trying...trying to save her. When her spirit
was crushed and shattered, I held her close. I knew my honest words weren't
enough, enough to help her but, that didn't stop me. When all was lost
and when I was about to die, she saved me. We helped each other and she started to
warm up a little. Her eyes though, those burgundy colored eyes, still had a bit of
mistrust and she held back for a second. I allowed myself to have her trust me when
the time was right. I was all open arms.
Finally, those eyes lit up with life, she smiled for the first time.
She has turned over a new leaf, she became her true self and my heart
soared with happiness for her. She said she wanted to be my friend,
to spend the rest of her life by my side. 'Let me be your most precious
person' She said. 'I'll protect you and stand by your side forever.'
I smiled, nothing in the world could have brought me such happiness as those
sentences she uttered. 'I wouldn't want anything else in the world Fate-chan' I
replied and laced my fingers with hers.
A few years later, here we are living in a comfortable home. For so long our friendship grew stronger and stronger. I'm no longer a little girl and she isn't either. We would walk to the beach and watch the sunset for hours on end, leaning on each other, enjoying each other's comfort. After dinner, we looked at the stars together. 'Fate-chan' I looked at her and she turned to me. 'Yes Nanoha?' I used Flyer
Fin and hovered in front of her, extending my hand. 'Come fly with me Fate-chan'.
She would smile and take my hand. 'Of course' was her reply. We soared up to the silver moon together
and I laughed with happiness. Fate smiled and planted a kiss on my forehead.
Our eyes locked on each other and we embraced. The cool air swirled around us and with the silver moon shining down on us, she was truly the one for me.
'Thank you Nanoha, for all those years of eternal bliss and happiness.' She whispered
in my ear. I smiled and rest my cheek in the crook of her neck. 'Without you
Fate-chan, my world wouldn't be complete. I would always have an empty space, I wouldn't
have felt the true feelings of happiness whenever I'm with you.' I reached up and planted a passionate kiss on her lips. She blushed and returned it eagerly. The world disappeared around me and the only thing on my mind was her.
Thank you Fate-chan, for being my partner, my love and my best friend. May our friendship continue and let us soar through the skies forever and ever.
