"She shouldn't be here. What is she doing here? She's not the person everyone expected. She doesn't deserve to be here like we do.." It keeps coming... It wont stop... It can't stop. I could hear their voices for hours each and every day, criticizing, commenting, ridiculing every little thing that I did.
Why can't it stop? Why does it have to go on like this?
I sat in the little corner away from everyone and anyone, like I always do, while tears were flowing out my blood-shot, puffy light cyan-colored eyes. I wanted to leave this place. I couldn't stand living alone through all of this. I despised everything and everyone here. No one would listen to me. I was alone.
"You alright?"
That voice; it was so kind, and gentle. It made me feel so warm inside. I slowly raised my head, so I could barely see his face. His eyes stood out the most. They were hazel brown with a shade of green. His hair stood out too. It was a dirty blonde, and it looked like a little messy, as if he had just woken. It was cute.
He sat down next to me, and started talking. I watched his mouth move and form into the shape of the next word he said.
"What do you think?" It startled me. I had blanked out; thinking of the tiny details about him; the way his voice sounded, the way he would move his hair out of his perfect face, his long eyelashes, and his soft eyes.
"About what?"
He started laughing, which sounded like a perfect kind a laugh. One that is genuine, not fake; a chuckle, not a noise. I looked up at him, his hair swaying side to side along with his head, while he kept giggling. His dimples added to the perfection of his face, making me blush.
"Never mind." He looked me in my eyes, and smiled. It made me smile. We both began to laugh.
It was the first time I had laughed in a long time. It made me realize that there were good people out there.
