It is like music.
The wonderful music
Screeching in my ears.
Something's here.

The music is trying
To beckon you into
Thinking that you are
Actually alone
The calls of the
Night. Begging
Me to wake from
My slumber. I hear it
Again, but it's diff-
Different, it's not
The call of the night
I am somewhere.
Lurking. Hiding away
From your vision.
I get up. Walking
Aimlessly around
My house searching.
Searching for the source
Of this commotion.
Drip, drop, drip, drop
The rain is coming down
Still can't find me, huh?
If only you knew what
Horrors await for you.
Looking everywhere
I can't find any
Trace of where
This thing is hiding.
Where is it?
Foolish being. You
Are getting this all
Wrong. Keep looking
But I am in the last
Place you'd look in.
Then I see it. A
Shadow or something
The darkness is coming
Closer. I run to it, but
It's gone in an instant.
For a split second you
Saw me. But this is not
My true form. Playing.
That's what I'm doing.
Just a fun little game.
I stand in the spot.
I hear a noise, and I
Know what it is.
A monster. Waiting
For the right moment.
Are you having fun
Like me? I see you
Frantically looking
For the 'monster'
But your tries are futile.
The rain outside is
Signaling a bad omen.
I can feel it
The monster is gaining
Speed. I'll find you.
You're looking for me
But you will never see
Me until you realize what
I really am. Because you
Are walking in circles.
Then I hear another
Noise. It is coming
From the bathroom.
Slowly, I walk towards
It. Preparing for impact
Oh! I see you've found my
Hiding space. But you do not
Want to see what's inside. Inside
Is something unimaginable but
it's too late to warn you now.
I'm stepping closer
Almost there.
Walking through
Come on, hurry
The door carefully
Up, soon you
Then I'll be able
Will see that
To finally see.
The monster
But the glass breaks
Is right here.
I look into the eyes and know
Very close.

Whoa! Did you like the free verse poem? It was so deep. I can't believe I wrote that. If it's confusing, I'll break it down for you
The bold – This is actually Sasuke. Him thinking and him doing the actions.
The Italics – This appears to be the 'monster'
The Italic Bold – This is both of them thinking at the same time.
The story – Sasuke wakes up during the middle of the night due to some strange noise. He is frantically searching the cause of this, and soon realizes that it's actually a living breathing monster. The Italics is the monster and it is thinking while Sasuke is looking for him. The Sasuke hears the noise coming from the bathroom and goes in to check. And when he does he's in for a surprise. The glass breaking refers to the mirror in the bathroom. Because when Sasuke looks into the eyes of the so-called monster, he realizes that it really is himself.
