"Finally home," I sighed.
Dropping my bag in the front hall I immediately made my way to the bathroom, running the hot water into the tub. I starred at the scratches on my face; carefully I peeled the clothes off my body then climbed into the hot bubble bath.
"Relaxation at last," I closed my eyes.
A crash in the next room ruined my relaxed mood. I listened for any movement but it was silent, I shrugged it off focusing on relaxing my muscles. With the amount of missions I've been on it could have been my imagination acting up. Eventually I got out of the bath drying off then put on a house coat before leaving the bathroom. I glanced at the clock in my bedroom, noting how late it was getting I quickly put on my nurse outfit for the party my best friend was throwing. As I began to head toward the door everything suddenly went black.
I know I've been working very hard but there was no way I had exhausted myself just yet. I started to stir, my body was heavy but it was the voices that caused me to stop moving. I didn't recognize these voices.
"Are I sure this is the girl?" some guy asked.
Someone brushed hair from my face and answered "Yes."
I didn't like being touched by a stranger and let my blue eyes fluttered open to see a red head with lazy brown eyes close to my face. Without really thinking I sat up, causing us to lock lips, I scrambled away as fast as possible.
"Don't I get a kiss too?"
I looked toward the voice and standing behind me was a blond guy with the most brilliant blue eye I've ever seen. I grimaced at his comment and he just smirked. My heart started to beat rapidly in my chest, I didn't know either of these two guys but I couldn't let them see my fear.
"Marsha," the red head called.
"Mars," I corrected him wincing slightly when he said my full name.
"My name is Sasori and the blond is Deidara."
"Who cares?" I shrugged wanting to leave.
"You better or else you'll be in trouble," I turned my attention to him "You are going to be part of the Akatsuki."
My mind raced, I've heard of the Akatsuki, they won't just let me go unless they killed me first. I thing I knew how to do right was use flirtation to my advantage and one or both of these men could be useful if I played my cards right. Besides it gave me a chance to see my brother after being away from him for so long. I stood up a little too quickly and fell into Deidara's arms; glancing around realization hit that we were flying in the sky.
"That's one nurse outfit," he grinned.
"I'll nurse you anytime," I whispered seductively in his ear.
He blushed. I gently nibbled his earlobe causing him to blush even more. I smirked to myself knowing that this blond was an easy target for me to take advantage of. I took a careful step back and turned to face Sasori.
"I'll join," I smiled "There's someone there I wish to see again."
Sasori raised a brow at my comment. The clay bird we seemed to be flying on jerked, sending me into Sasori's arms.
"We're going down," Deidara warned a second too late.
"I noticed."
He just grinned at me but it flickered when he saw me in his partner's arms. The red head helped me down to the ground as the blond opened the hidden underground passage to the Akatsuki base.
"You'll need to see the leader before we show you around," Deidara informed.
The blond put his hand on my lower back as he led me to their leader. He opened the door allowing me to enter first before he followed.
"Marsha?" an orange haired man asked "Please sit."
"Mars," I corrected as I took a seat "Let me make this quick for you. I'll join the Akatsuki, but I need to go back to my place to pick up a few things."
"Very well," he blinked registering my words "First let me introduce you to the other members before you go. Deidara will go back with you."
I was taken to a different room where seven people sat; one woman while the others were men. Pein, the leader, named everyone around the table while Deidara kept me close with his hand on my lower back. He wanted to room to know that I was off limits because he wanted me, I let him think that for my own benefit. Konan eyed me suspiciously before smiling her acceptance, just before I left I gave my brother a kiss on the cheek.
