Hanataro Yamada felt a nervous flutter in his stomach as he wandered around the Squad 13 barracks in search of someone special. All of Soul Society was decorated in Christmas lights, mistletoe, and wreaths for tonight's festivities. Somehow some of the Squad Captains had convinced old man Yama into having a Christmas Party for all of the Soul Society.
Many we're going as couples some by themselves, and this was why Hanataro was wandering the Squad 13 barracks. To find and ask his crush to be his date tonight. At first he wasn't going to do it but then Rukia and Kiyone had been able to talk him into it... Well more like black mail him into it. He was afraid she would say no... Would she say no? Finally snapping out of his thoughts he heard who he was looking for,
"I-I'm sorry, I di-didn't mean to upset a-anyone.."
Hanataro rounded a corner to see Minamino Tenshi whose silver hair currently hide her face in embarrassment. She turns away from the other Squad 13 member who towers over her and accidentally runs into Hanataro. As she begins to fall with a yelp Hanataro grabs her arm in an attempt to help but ends up falling with Tenshi. Both get up blushing bright red Tenshi's blush definitely more noticeable due to her pale albino skin. The two were now alone in the corridor for the other soul reaper was long gone now.
"Ha-Hanataro what are y-you doing here?"
Tenshi touches her arm absentmindedly where Hanataro's hand once was. Due to Tenshi's question Hanataro's blush deepens which peaked her curiosity even more as her red eyes look into his blue ones. Hanataro gulps trying to gain courage as he pulls out a small red velvet box adorned with small green ribbon bows. Tenshi's heart begins to beat faster as does Hanataro's. Holding out the small box with one hand to Tenshi, Hanataro takes in a deep breath.
"Tenshi... I-I was wo-wondering if you... If y-you would..." He takes in another deep breath as Tenshi begins to smile making him more nervous if possible, "would be my date tonight." The last seemed to be yelled out!
Hanataro closes his eyes in desperation and Tenshi for once feeling brave puts her hand on the velvet box and whispers,
"Of course Hanataro."
Hanataro's eyes open wide in disbelief,
"Really?"
Tenshi giggles,
"Really, Hanataro!"
Hanataro smiles real big and quickly hugs Tenshi surprising himself as we'll as her. As he begins to pull away she quickly hugs him back and they stay that way in a embrace.
They pull away from another both smiling and blushing. Hanataro looks down at the box in his hands and quickly hands it to Tenshi.
"This is for you!"
Tenshi looks at the box curious once again. She looks up at Hanataro then back down at the box. She then lifts the lid up to reveal a silver necklace with an angel on it and a stone on a wreath on the angels head. The stone is the stone of December.
