Hi there! So I've never written fanfiction and we'll see how this goes okay. Sorry for the horribleness that is my writing and the fact that I can already garuntee that I won't upload regularly. Also I don't make much sense. DISCLAIMER - obviously this is fanfiction I don't own Everlost or anything.
Kyla had been in Everlost for years. She didn't know how many, but she knew it wasn't too long, because the outside world hadn't changed much. She had spent the majority of her time wandering alone, because that was what she wanted. Sure, she liked knowing people, talking, having friends - but none of them wanted to travel, they all just wanted to find niches and do the same thing for all eternity. She had been friends with Jane and Therese and Robby and Pepe, but she'd had to leave them. Who knows what they were up to now - it probably wasn't the way she wanted to spend eternity, though.
Eleanour was from the 1800s. She knew Everlost well. She knew which areas were under strict control, what places to stay out of. She'd been to a vortex, even. And she'd stayed in major, large groups - never with Mary Hightower though, she'd known to avoid that awful place. Eleanour, or Elle as her friends called her, had settled down in an old summer camp that had crossed over in southern Wisconsin.
Brian was a skinjacker, and so was Rubie. The 14-year-olds had been here for nearly 20 years. They'd settled down in Illinois, in a child's treehouse that had crossed over after a fire. But the two spent almost all of their time in downtown Chicago, in different human bodies, spending time together as living breathing humans, taking control of their lives for a few hours each.
Liam was the opposite of Kyla, the traveller. He'd entered Everlost only six months before, right near the Twin Towers and Mary Hightower. He lived there. He never found a true niche, never started repeating the same action for eternity. But he did like routine, and he did the same things each week. It made him feel more comfortable. Anyways, he was sure he'd be able to tell if he'd ever fall into a niche. He wasn't dumb, he'd be able not to do that.
Maggie was new. Maggie was a greensoul. Maggie was the youngest of the afterlights, she'd only been here days. She woke up in the forest she'd been hiking in. She didn't know what was going on, or why the ground was so soft and the colors so muted. She thought she was lost and injured, she knew she needed medical attention. Poor 12 year old Maggie - she was convinced she was going to die, and she was utterly terrified.
Okay so basic plot outline - these are the characters and they're gonna meet and stuffs gonna happen and yeah.
