Another very short Olivia introspective. OF pairing, with implied EO. Enjoy.

I wrote a couple of notes
One in love, one in anger
They're lying there dying in the dresser drawer
Lived louder than my voice, struggled through a stranger
He loved me until I loved you even more
It's a bitter sweet victory
Knowin' someone else wanted me.

She knew she was hurting him.
Sitting on the edge of the bed, Olivia watched as Fin slept peacefully in her sheets. They had been seeing each other for almost six months, and really she didn't regret it. He was a good man who cared about her and expressed his feelings for her almost daily.
He gave her more than Elliot ever had.
She bowed her head and ran her fingers through her hair.
She cared very deeply for Fin. Why else would she be with him? He gave her stability and wanted to spend his life with her. He didn't make her second guess his intentions and never gave her a reason to doubt him. He knew her struggles and her demons and instead of running, he helped her fight them every day. He made her want to be a better and stronger person, the person she knew he saw even when she couldn't.
He was everything Elliot had not been.
And yet, all she could think about was Elliot.
Where was he?
Did he still think of her?
Did he ever miss her?
Was he happy now?
Did he love her?
A single tear rolled down her cheek from her eye and splashed softly on her pajamas. Even after having no contact with him for two years, his memory still held power over her and she couldn't see why. He had left her without so much as a goodbye and she couldn't even put him out of her heart to allow it to be fully Fin's.
Fin shifted in his sleep and mumbled her name, twisting Olivia's heart.
What if she couldn't love him the way he loved her? What if she was never able to get over Elliot?
What if Fin realized he couldn't accept only part of her heart?
She stood up and leaned over Fin, gently kissing his temple as he slept.
"I'm so sorry, Fin…"
