Cooper watched Charlotte walk down the aisle. Her head held high, as graceful as a swan, looking the most beautiful he had ever seen her.

48 hours earlier

Cooper was a second away from slumber when he heard a knock at his front door. Thinking that it would be Violet having a panic attack or Amelia wanting a booty call, he put on his pajamas and walked over to the door. There standing in front of him, bawling her eyes out was the love of his life.

Charlotte's dirty-blonde hair was up in a messy ponytail, her mascara was running, and her lipstick was smudged. Somehow, she managed to still look gorgeous.

"Coop?"

"Yeah?"

"Can I come in?"

He opened the door a little bit more, allowing her to step inside.

"Sheldon doesn't think that I'm "over you" or whatever..."

"Yeah?" He nodded, loving the direction this was heading.

"He said that I need to have one last romp before we go down the aisle."

"Really?" His happiness was thrown down a notch or two (or twelve)

Charlotte answered by stepping closer and closer, it seemed like a decade before she was flush against him. She pulled her lips to his-"

Cooper's thoughts were interrupted by Sheldon beginning to speak his vows.

"I vow to be more to you. I vow to trust you and give you emotional support. I vow that we will always have intellectually stimulating conversations. I vow to always be there for you-no matter what life brings us. I vow that we will always have mindblowing sex. I vow that I will give you my mother's great recipe for Haggis. I vow to give you everything-all of the time. I vow to give you the whole package.. right down to the picket fence."

This is the part he's been dreading. To hear Charlotte speak vows to another man? He knows that it will twist the knife in his heart (the one he knows he put there.)

"I vow to love and cherish you. I vow to always be faithful to you. I vow that I will always make time for you. I vow to love you for the rest of our lives."

It's short and straight to the point (kind of like Charlotte.)

Sheldon slides the silver band that he knows is engraved with my heart and she slips the thicker version of her band onto his finger (that Charlotte decided not to have engraved.) They share a kiss- it's long and passionate. The perfect kiss for the perfect wedding.

They slowly walk down the aisle (Cooper would have pulled her into his arms bridal-style, but.. it's not his wedding is it?)

They finally make their way to the waiting, black limo. Amelia kisses Charlotte on the cheek and whispers something into her ear that makes Charlotte smile grow even wider. Sheldon's brother, Owen slaps him on the back and says "Great job, man!"

Sheldon opens the limo door for Charlotte and steps inside himself. They then start the car and he knows that his heart is riding off into the sunset... without him.
