Sucy lies down in bed staring up at the ceiling. A light snoring fills the room as Akko turns onto her side in her sleep. Unperturbed Sucy continues to stare up at the ceiling. She can not sleep as her mind flashes through thoughts of Akko. She blushes a deep crimson, holding tighter onto her favourite mushroom. She glances over to the window and rays of light are beginning to ebb their in through the gaps in the curtain. She rolls over again trying to enjoy the last hours of sleep before the school day starts, however, she cannot get rid of this uneasy feeling. Finding it useless she eases herself out of bed quietly, lifting the quilt trying to make as little noise as possible to prevent Lotte from waking up. Akko is such a heavy sleeper that Sucy knows that, unless Shiny Chariot herself comes bounding through the dormitory door, Lotte and her are going to have a hard time getting her up in time for class once again this morning. Akko's snores become louder as Sucy wanders over to her concoction of poisons and antidotes. She runs her hand along the bottles, searching out her new experimental potion. This new potion she hopes could help Akko temporarily increase her magical powers. Maybe then Akko will be able to fly on her broom at last. Sucy had been cultivating mandrakes purposely with this very aim since she had met Akko. Originally it had simply been out of interest to see the effects of mandrake on a witch with very little powers, however, at it slowly became more and more obvious at Akko's lack of magical ability Sucy had hoped to produce a potion that could permanently increase this. It was an ambitious task. In order to maintain those effects a mandrake would need to have been cultivated for well over a decade. In the first tests though Sucy aimed to use a mandrake that had only been growing for the past couple of months. But how to ensure that Akko took the potion? Sucy glared at the potion, deep in thought. Maybe she could put it in her food, or make her drink it accidentally… Or… She glanced over to Akko as she slept, smirking as an idea flashed into her brain. Checking to make sure Lotte was still asleep too Sucy grabbed the potion and walked over to Akko. The snores had settled down once more from Akko. One of Lotte's familiars stirs from the top bunk, causing Sucy to speed up her administration. Uncorking the potion, Sucy pours it into Akko's ear. Then as quickly as she had administered the experiment she went over to her lab, checking the time before noting it down. The little fire spirit familiar looked on in interest, not daring to wake up Lotte in case Sucy's next experiment was tested on him.
