Luigi was in the hallway of the old mansion, being alert for any ghosts or things that could attack at any given moment. Suddenly, he jumped and froze. There was a young woman who looked around 19, she was slightly taller than Luigi and the expression on her face was completely bland. "a-are y-you a-a ghost...?" Luigi asked, not knowing if she was real or not. "no..." she replied. Her personality did seem rather grim, however since Luigi could feel her breath in the cold mansion, sure enough she was indeed real. "what are you doing here?" she asked. "I'ma just a searching for Mario." Luigi replied, already losing hope of finding his brother. "I'd assume Mario wears red, yes?" she said. "yeah." Luigi said, brightening up a bit. "follow me." the girl said, walking through an open door. What was in the room had shocked the two: Mario was trapped inside a painting, calling for help. "get me outta here!" he cried. Luigi was about to take Mario's painting from the wall until a familiar figure stopped him. "remember me Luigi? hahaha! I remember of a time where I was trapped inside a painting... good times, good times. but now I'm back and I'm going to paint the town RED." King Boo said.

After a long night, Mario was now back to normal and Professor had gone back to his studies and research. "hey, I just a realized I never got a your name." Luigi said to the young woman he met in the mansion. "Princess Marie." she said. "nice a too meet you Marie!" Mario said, happily. "say Marie, how would you like to live in the Mushroom Kingdom?" he asked. "s-sure..! I mean... all I've been living in all this time was that creepy old mansion." Marie said. And at that, she went with the Mario Bros to start fresh in the Mushroom Kingdom.
A/N: okay... this took me like an hour to write D: but on the bright side, it's 2017 so a good way to start a good year right? ^^ anyway, review and tell me what you think.
