End of Nowehere
Look at him run; he doesn't know why, he just does. He runs, and runs, and runs, and runs. Never blinking, never stopping, always running and dodging and jumping and flying. And yet, he can't shake the feeling that he's done this before, like everything in his life has led up to this, the one moment where he decides to be, not just think, but that moment is replayed over and over again until it has no meaning. When in doubt, just give up; life will start over again.
But the finish line is Nowhere to be found, and he feels that he is running towards the horizon and never making any progress, but with each passing step he goes faster and faster, and grows tired and more tired still. He just keeps running and reminds himself of what he's running for. And suddenly he can't remember.
He wants to stop, to reexamine all that's happened and why he runs so long and hard, but there is no choice; his legs move too fast underneath him to ever hope to stop. So he runs more, but because he no longer has a choice. The glass breaks as he tumbles to the ledge below. A million gulls of uniform size and color form a cloud and make the world run just a little bit slower before jarring back to the speed of light. His whole existence hinges on this, and not even the discordant faux-utopia in the background what with its wanton depictions of apocalypse and destruction will dissuade him from his meager 'quest.'
That is until he his the proverbial--no, literal--brick wall of life because he couldn't jump quite high enough, and all is lost. He tumbles to his death below, never to be seen again, and--
Look at him run; he doesn't know why, he just does. He runs, and runs, and runs, and runs.
