Here's my 3rd Harry Potter Fanfiction! Summary: What if the Mirror of Erised was visible to Ginny every year at Hogwarts? This is what she sees. Chapter 1: 1st Year. Disclaimer: I don't own anything. All of Harry Potter belongs to J.K. Rowling
Ginny stepped into the Gryffindor common room. Nobody realised that I'm here, but they don't care because I'm a 1st Year, thought Ginny.
Ginny Weasley was an 11 year old girl. Born in a poor family, she was the youngest of 7 children and only girl in the Weasley family. She walked up the stairs to the girls' dormitories, but she wasn't expecting to see a mirror there. That's a pretty mirror, thought Ginny, but it's very unusual. She looked at the writing above the mirror. "Erised stra ehru oyt ube cafru oyt on wohsi," she read with a whisper. What could that mean? She stepped closer to the mirror.
I don't just see myself, thought Ginny, I see myself with Harry… but why? But she was wrong. She didn't just see herself with Harry. She also saw two young children. The boy resembled Harry whilst the girl resembled Ginny. Who are they? Ginny thought. Is this a dream? Maybe this mirror shows what the person wants, whatever they want… Ginny continued to stare at the mirror until she heard someone open the door to her dormitory. She started to panic. What do I do now? She thought. She suddenly thought of something. Wait! I read about a disillusionment charm! Ginny tapped her wand on the mirror and the mirror disappeared, but when she touched the area, she felt the mirror. The door opened and Hermione Granger stepped into their dormitory.
"Hey Ginny!" Hermione said.
"Hi Hermione, what's new?" Ginny replied. Hermione shrugged as if to say 'not much'. She yawned.
"I'm really tired Ginny, let's go to bed." Ginny nodded. As she closed her eyes, she thought of the mirror and whether she should show it to Hermione or not. I won't, Ginny thought, for now… She slowly drifted to sleep.
