I don't know why I decided to do this. I should have known better, but it had been so long since he had actually talked to me and I thought I was finally getting over him.

What else was I supposed to say when Dean asked me out? I wasn't going to say no….after all Harry had had his fun with Cho. Why couldn't I have some with Dean?

We were in Hogsmead. Dean and I had been talking about light and fluffy things like the weather… and it was kind of nice, like talking to a friend. But then he had to ruin it.

"Can I get you anything?" the curvy waitress asked.

"Two butter beers," Dean said without even looking at her. Yes I know, he's such a gentleman. But for some reason this bothered me. I didn't like the way he ignored the other females in the room and only focused on me.

He leaned forward and laced his fingers through mine. I grimaced as his touch sent a wave of what felt like frog spawn over me. I felt sick to my stomach (and not in a butterfly kinda way). He squeezed my hand and moved even closer to me.

"Here are your drinks."

I sighed in relief and dropped Dean's hand. He looked disappointed, but started up another conversation.

We finished our drinks and he grabbed my hand again, pulling me closer. My insides turned into beetles, not even caterpillars or moths…. beetles. I shifted uncomfortably. He didn't notice and tucked a loose strand of hair behind my ear. He leaned closer, trying to kiss me. I jumped up and wrenched my hand out of his.

"Uhh, potions essay. Forgot about it….sorry. Bye."

And with that I turned and ran back up to the castle, wishing to scrub the memory of Harry Potter from my mind and failing horribly.

I hope this makes sense to somebody other than me….

Reviews… those would be nice…. No pressure or anything…. Yea….
