I snuggled closer to the comforting feeling of my new wife under the sheets. Life was good. I was married, she was pregnant with my child. Her name is Katsumi. She was my soul mate. I once thought Asuka was just that, but no, that was only one sided. I rewinded my memory to the day after my wedding, I wrote a poem to Asuka, saying I was finally over her. I know she was glad to have finally heard it come out of my mouth - or rather head.

I've always loved you, and to stop? I never will.
I've tried and tried, but still...
You remain in my heart, and forever will.
If only looks could kill...
Memories of me and you
I shall cherish
As I hope you do.
Of those days back in the Academy
Gosh! Was I shrude!
I've loved you since first semester,
Do you remember?
No matter how much you turned me down
I always stood back up.
Hoping you would fall someday,
But boy! Was I wrong!
You didn't like me that way... no, not at all.
I never will understand your reasons...
You chose that slacker over me!
I admit I was jealous,
But I could see, to you, he was precious.
It really wasn't much of a surprise, the news.
Everyone could see it,
You liked him... he liked you...
I didn't want to believe it.
Much less admit it.
That man you call your one and only...
Does he make you happy?
You have a happy family,
A husband, and your kids
I could never take that away from you.
No! That'd be silly!
I wrote this poem to tell you,
I'm over you now.
I have a wife of my own,
I have found my true soul mate.
We can still be friends... I guess that will do.
Maybe we could go out sometime for a... double date?
One more thing before I go,
Tell the king I said hey!
Not what you were looking for?
Well, then here it is...
You will always hold a place in my heart, that will never change.
And don't you forget it!

I was truley over her.
I was finally free.
This was my first shot at poetry! Was it okay? I hoped it was! If you're waiting on my story Spirit World, then keep waiting! I have no idea what to write - or rather type for the chapter in making. I'm not even inspired to keep writing it.
