Spoilers: Over There (1 &2)

Disclaimer: I do not own Fringe or this would be what happens.

B/N: Alternat ending to 'Too Late' and a surprise at the end.

Peter stood looking at the grave before him, a grave he wish he'd never had to pay for. She was dead, dying in a shoot out just a week after they returned. She died in his arms, his last words had been of love and still laid in his mind three months later.

I love you Livy, you have to hold on. Please Sweetheart, hold on for me. I came back because you said I belong with you...I'm here Livy so don't leave me.

Moments later she died, dying with not words of love on her lips but of a chance. Her words still haunted him but he knew what she meant...there was another of her to love.

She's in your world, go to her...love her and be safe. I'm sorry Peter...sorry...

Reading the grave before him, he couldn't help but think of the irony attached to the gravestone. This wasn't Olivia or the Olivia he though he knew. He'd faced his real father and prevented anymore damage in this world...and rescued Olivia, only because her counterpart had said those words.

Olivia Anna Dunham

1979 - 2010

Friend. Sister. Aunt. Lover.

Always There to Right A Wrong

Protector of Humanity

"Peter?" He turned to see her, standing in her usual business suit, she walked over and he put an arm around her. "Whatever you do...don't put 'protector of humanity' on my headstone...it's just weird."

Peter chuckled and kissed her head, "noted, you know I still find it ironic that with her last breathe she told me where you were. It took me a few days to realize that it wasn't you...I was going over it in my mind and realized you'd never tell me to go love the alternate you."

"Hmm, well I think we should leave her in peace...she probably needs it after the lies and hatred she went through over there. You and I have an appointment."

"And appointment for what?"

Olivia smiled and kissed his cheek. "You'll see, ready or shall we go find a car?"

He eyed her, "last time you attempted teleporting with me, might I remind you where we ended up instead of where we should have been? Broyles was upset that we were late because you accidentally teleported us to your apartment. As much as I enjoyed that...I didn't like the lecture he gave in return."

"Don't worry, that's where we're headed...we can't just teleport into an office can we?"

Peter chuckled, "no, not unless you really want to upset Broyles."

"Actually we're heading to Massive Dynamics and not everyone is accustomed to my abilities yet."

"Sounds like a plan, do me a favor and next time you decide to teleport me...give me an hour's warning. Grabbing my hand and teleporting me right after I get my coat on isn't fun. How'd you even know I wanted to be here." She smiled, "great, mind reading now...what's next?"

"We already have four that are known, Walter agrees it could be endless what I can do."

Peter chuckled and put his arms around Olivia and she placed her arms around his neck. He eyed her, "gentle...no midair landings, the last one hurt."

"Can't do midair landings anymore."

"Why, just for clarification?"

She smiled and looked at him, "bad for the baby."

He looked at her, "baby?" Before anything else was said, they disappeared from the graveyard and away from the grave of a woman who gave Olivia back to Peter.

A/N: Should I write a third part where Peter and Olivia explain the grave to their child or not?
