Welllllllll... This story has actually been developing for a year, but only recently have I decided to actually put pen to paper. Well, fingers to keyboard really. I apologize for the lack of length, I always find beginning the roughest, but as time goes on I aim to make chapters much longer.

Anyways, I don't own one piece (Well, I have volumes 1,24,30,51-67, and many figures, but that's not what you meant is it?)

The Island of Scotia was a quite, peaceful one. Those who called it home lived carefree lives, never worrying about anything more than the weather. It lay in the crystalline waters or north blue, the second last island before the Red line, making it frequented by pirates, merchants, and marines alike. With markets selling wares from every blue, (though none from all blue. Yet.), a library with a selection to rival Ohara's, and a breathtaking countryside, Scotia was paradise in itself.

Its main port, where our story begins, was the gorgeous Wasaga Harbour, home to the marine base. The Captain of the Wasaga Harbour Base was the beloved Captain Adonis. Captain Diez Adonis.

The Captain was a just, strong man, with wisdom much beyond his years. He cared deeply for the island he called home, and saw to it that the islanders never had to live in fear of criminals, of pirates, or of anything else. However, Adonis did not go about this like any ordinary marine, he did not go find, capture, and execute anyone who opposed him. He knew that the only way to truly keep peace in Scotia was to be peaceful.

So Adonis made it clear that any pirate who came to Scotia would not be harmed, but anyone, be it pirate, marine, or merchant, who bore ill intent, would be denied entry, or punished according to their crimes. There would be no execution, no gallows standing eerily in the the town square, no children clutching at the mothers, crying out for their fathers as the platform dropped... No. None of that.

Eventually Adonis fell in love with a young lady named Muskoka. Muskoka had long curly red hair, soft green eyes, and skin dotted with freckles, which she adamantly despised. And Adonis loved her, freckles and all.

The happy couple married the summer Adonis was 27, and less than a year later Adonis became a father to a precious bundle of joy he called Drake.
