Hiei walked down the street grumbling about orokana kitsunes and their need to prank those around them.
"Lover's spat?" Hiei glared at the smirking detective-turned-half-deamon-king.
"Since you aren't going to tell me, would you mind a spar? I am feeling restless." Hiei thought amount before smirking and nodding.
When they got to Genkai's temple, Yukina was outside beating a rug. She nodded to her twin, that she still didn't know was her twin, and Yusuke as the they moved toward the back. They got into their stances and waited to see who would move first. Yusuke being the younger, and more impatience, got tired of the stand off faster and shoot off his rei gun. Hiei dodged the bullet and ran toward Yusuke. He pulled out his sword as he reached Yusuke. Yusuke dodged the sword strike and counter acted. It was hard to tell who was winning because the fighter had become a blur. After about an hour, the dust settled, Hiei was on his back on the ground Yusuke's fist hovering over his throat, and Hiei's sword was aimed at Yusuke's stomach.
"Draw?" Yusuke panted. Hiei grunted. Yusuke let Hiei up and turned to go into the temple, as he did so he saw a flash of red. He smirked and made a note to make sure that the door was closed.
Hiei was standing where Yusuke left him, eyes closed as he calmed down. He opened them and glare at a tree just a few feet away. "You know that I know you're there, so why are you hiding?"
"Because I didn't think that you would want to see me yet, but I wanted to make sure that you were okay." Kumara walked out from behind the tree, and walked up to his smaller lover. He stood in front of Hiei and said, "I am sorry. It was meant to be a harmless prank. I don't understand why you are reacting the way you are."
Hiei could see the truth in the fox's eyes. He sighed, and said, "I didn't want anyone to find out. I am pregnant."
Kumara blinked, blinked again, and said, "Pregent? You are pregnant?" His eyes widened. "My prank could have harmed the kit." he whispered.
Hiei nodded, and said, "I don't think that I will show, but I will start acting weird soon. I was planning on telling you tonight, and then telling everyone else later this week."
"Can we tell them now? I would feel better if we told them on, because Yusuke and Kuwabara have a habit of randomly throwing attacks at you, and you will get slower as the pregnancy progresses." Kumara said. Hiei thought about it, and nodded.
"Let's head inside and see who all is here." Kumara said, and put his hand on Hiei shoulder.
