Chii's thoughts:
Disclaimer: Chobits belongs to Clamp. (Not me!)
Chii looked down at the book she was holding in her hands, the book was entitled "The dream that cannot be fulfilled- the empty city."
This book had taught her many things. One of them was the word "bye". She did not know much about this word but when she had read it, she had felt a throbbing pain in her chest.
The pain was a different kind of pain. It gave her a feeling of darkness overwhelming her, scaring her very much.
The pain though scary seemed to have a meaning within it. It seemed to tell her about a great sorrow, a sorrow so devastating, it would shred one's heart into pieces.
She had never told her master about her discovery of this strange newfound sorrow. She did not want to worry him about it. To see him in pain would hurt her heart deeply.
She did not know why she felt this way. It was a strange feeling, but yet it seemed strangely familiar to her. However, there would be a warm feeling in her chest whenever he smiled at her.
Perhaps, she wondered that maybe this warm feeling was something that was precious to her. Maybe it was due to this feeling that she did not want to see her master in pain.
She was not sure though but she just wanted to have this warm feeling, right down in her heart forever.
