"Alicia! Watch out!" I screamed. But it was too late. Not only for her,
but for Brooke and me too. It all just seemed to end. No feeling. No life.
It was a car that hit us. Blue, with a red stripe along the side. The image
kept on replaying in my mind. It seemed to be the only part of me that
wasn't dead. I couldn't hear or see or move. I could just lie there,
motionless on the road as everything slowly faded away.
A breeze hits my face. Where am I? I can see again. The sky is blue and cloudy and - I'm sitting alone in the middle of a field?
"Storm!" came Brooke's voice. I guess I wasn't alone!
"Brooke!" I ran up and gave her a hug. I was so glad to see her alive. "Brooke where are we?" I finally asked.
"I have no idea, I just woke up"
"Alicia!" I remembered quickly. "Where's Alicia?"
It all came back to us, like a massive river flowing through our minds. Alicia, the car, and a lot of blood. There's no way she could have survived it.
"Storm! Brooke!" I couldn't believe what I herd.
"Alicia!" We ran up beside her. There wasn't the slightest trace that she had ever been wounded. I thought for a moment. "Are we in heaven?"
Wonder passed over their faces. It made sense, didn't it? Having something terrible happen to us, and then just appearing in the middle of nowhere at full-health? This is just getting weird!
"What is that?" Brooke suddenly asked. She was pointing to the sky.
Looking up, I saw a huge, and I mean HUGE, bird! All I could do was stare.
"It's coming towards us!" Alicia added, panicky.
She was right. The massive creature was definitely heading our way!
