Author's Note: I don't own Star Fox, or its locations, or anything associated with it, but Neazca, Jerry, Lola, John, and Petri are mine, so hands off.
It was seven years after the Great Fox had been taken over by the strange mutated creature known as Neazca. They thought they had killed her, but their success was extremely temporary. She revived and slaughtered them all, after killing fox earlier that day.
However, a dying Falco had managed to reach the controls and hit the self destruct. Only half of the charges fired, however, leaving the charred half of the Great fox to float away forever, Neazca in hibernation.
Seven years after the Star Fox team was killed, Great Fox's remains drifted back into the system and landed on Venom. Neazca managed to utilize Andross's mammoth unused weaponry, technology, and military forces. She ate the soldiers and infested the technology with a strange virus, which changed the technology into odd, half-organic material.
All this led to a shower of huge bombs, designed to destroy whole planets, but all of them missed, except for the one that hit the Macbeth moon known as Tsari. It was destroyed, and Macbeth riddled with fragments. It quickly became painfully clear that this threat needed to be dispatched, although none knew it was the killer of the Star Fox team.
The new team was financed by a host of organizations. One provided supplies, another, fuel. Another establishment gave the new team uniforms, another gave them four fighters and a medium-sized home ship.
The team was, as Star Fox had been, made of four members.
The first member was Jerry Olian. He was an avian like Falco, and the team leader. The second, and the technician, was Lola Makkawensaeza. She was a Fox. The "replacement" for Peppy was John In, a wolf. Filling in the final spot was Petri Nss, another fox. They were sent to Venom to find out what was going on.
