"Lily!"
She turned, and doubled back, looking in the empty charms classroom.
"Sev?"
He stepped out of the shadows, scowling.
"What are you doing?" He hissed.
"What do you mean?" She asked, confused.
"You went to Hogsmede with Potter! Why?"
"Oh, Sev, not again!" Lily groaned. She turned to leave. He grabbed her wrist. She starred at him incredulously.
"Why?" He asked softly. She pulled her hand from his grasp.
"Because I wanted to! You're being ridiculous, Sev! You know I hate it when you do this! But… if you cant handle the fact I'm dating James… then maybe it would be best if we weren't friends anymore."
"What?" He whispered, taking a shuddering breath. She took his hand in her small, soft one."
"I don't want to Sev… But I really like James. A lot. and, well… you don't." her eyes were flooding with tears. "Goodbye, Sev." she ran from the class, crying softly.
Severus stood in the doorway, watching her go with dark eyes.
"I'll always love you Lils." He whispered.
