A/N: This one is short, but not-so-sweet. You'll see me at the end :)
She always thought he was worth the sacrifice. A gold medal among plenty honorable mentions.
He had always been good to her. That was something that couldn't be forgotten.
But her family was a bonus she never thought she could have again after making the final choice. Then she suddenly won a prize that was meant for the winner of a contest she bowed out of.
It made her vain. Her love story had been dampened by the lack of sacrifice she had to make, and after all the hardship, she felt it was deserved.
It suited her, though, the happy ending. Her destiny, fulfilled. Yes, it had definitely made her vain.
Aro had been right. Immortality suited her. But did she suit immortality?
Her father and Jacob might disagree.
A/N: Usually, I don't like to put anything at the end, but I had more to ask my readers than usual. It's Bella-centric, if that wasn't realized. The idea came from Robbuz (Twilight fan on deviantArt) and her opinions on Breaking Dawn. She mentioned how Edward and Bella's story is so beautiful because she knew she would never get to see her family again, and she was willing to give that up. The end of this was weird for me. I did the classic reverse-question, and I thought it was appropriately cliche. I also wasn't sure about using Aro's or Jacob's name at the end, it seemed to break a piece of glass (for lack of a better metaphor, do you get what I mean?) almost, in the work because I hadn't used proper nouns earlier when I could.
So I quite obviously am not sure about this and REALLY want some feedback. And now that I'm 92% sure that this AN is longer than the drabble, I'll be going.
