Okay so this is a short poem i wrote at 4 AM last week after my english teacher had us read poetry from the Renaissance.

Disclaimer: I, unfortunately do not own twilight, or Edward. *sighs* But i do howevever own a copy of all 4 books!

.:Forbidden Love:.

The lion fell in love with the lamb

She says she doesn't care what type of creature I am.

Although she feels this way bothers me,

I can't make the logic fit coherently.

If only she knew how dangerous I can be,

Maybe she would react normally and be afraid of me.

Just because I resist the temptation,

Doesn't mean the same for all vampires in the nation.

I love this girl too much to comprehend

But because of this love I will make my amends.

Leaving her would be most beneficial

Today in the forest, I'll make it official.

There's no need for an angel like her

To be in love with a mythical creature.

I refuse to damn her for eternity,

Now matter how much she means to me.

She will always reserve a place in my heart,

But after I leave she can have a clean start.

My angel will be able to live normal and care-free

Without the fear of getting hurt by me.

No matter where I go, I'll always love thee.

Well, there's my little poem. Please review to tell me how i did! Constructive criticism welcomed!! Thnx!
