Relationships
Kanda had never understood relationships. They were pointless and only seemed to end in disaster. He always heard the arguments they resulted in and wondered why people bothered. He had better things to do with his time, rather than look like an infatuated fool.
The way Lenalee and Beansprout constantly flirted unnerved him. The saccharine sweetness of it, it was just... sickening. And the way that idiot rabbit proceeded to yell 'strike' at anything with big breasts and long legs humiliated him. Kanda found himself mortified, and he wasn't even the one yelling. That boy was supposed to be a bookman for god sakes.
Kanda walked into a corridor then turned and walked back the way he had come. Did they have to do that where people might see them? Another thing he didn't understand. Why would anyone want to exchange saliva with someone? Just the thought of it disgusted him. Think of all the diseases you could get.
Sometimes at night, he heard things. Things he really didn't need to hear. It confused him endlessly that people could continuously participate in such acts. The sole purpose of sex was to procreate the species. But the world is overpopulated anyway, so there was no real need to contribute. He certainly wasn't going to. He couldn't think of anything worse than having a snivelling baby to look after.
Kanda frowned. He already knew most people were idiots. So therefore, he rationalised, they were likely to do stupid things. And as long as they were doing those things, they would leave him alone. That meant it was alright. As long as he couldn't hear it, he benefited from the situation.
"Che."
