Ok, this one-shot is about the brothers Nero and Weiss from Dirge of Cerberus. There aren't really any spoilers here. This story is in Nero's point-of-view (if you can't tell). I might expand on this concept later… right now I really need to get the 2nd chapter of my Harry Potter story up. So leave me a review about what you thought about the story! This is my first try at a one-shot like this. Constructive criticism is appreciated though.

My Only Hope
You were always there, Weiss, my older brother. You are the only person I will ever love.
Light and darkness. It is said neither can exist without the other. That within light, there is darkness; and inside the dark, there is light.
The same can be said for us, my dear brother. Weiss, you are my light. I am your darkness. We are two sides of the same coin – Weiss the Immaculate and Nero the Sable.
I hated to see you in pain. I wanted you to achieve your goals. I would have done anything to help you cleanse the world.
In the end, I couldn't help you accomplish that goal. I couldn't stop the ex-Turk from beating you.
I could do one thing, though. I could set you free from Hojo's mind. I could merge with you, and we would never be apart ever again.
In the end, every light needs its darkness.
In the end, you were my only weakness.
Weiss, in the end, you are my only hope.
