I am engaged to Edward Cullen who is my sole mate. When I see him everything else is just a blur. But all of that didn't matter today. I was at Charlie's when I got the letter that would change my life. It said that Jacob Black died. I ran to Charlie and I was sobbing uncontrollably. That's when Edward walked through the door.

When I walked through the door of Charlie's house I saw Bella crying on her dads shoulder. She was looking at me, her eyes piercing through mine. I then read Charlie's mind and knew what happened. I walked over to her and Charlie handed me a letter. I opened the letter and started to read it. Dear Bella, my truck is dead and the phone lines are down. I needed tell you Jacob died a few days ago. My own son died. Bella how could this of happened. The funeral is on Thursday July 19. I hope to see you. Jacob loved you so.

I saw Edward reading the letter. He ran toward me took me from Charlie's shoulder and asked if I wanted to leave. I couldn't though. Charlie loved Jacob too. I couldn't leave him here to console alone.
4 days later……
I didn't want Edward at the funeral with me. I didn't want him to see me so vulnerable. I went with Charlie. During the car ride Charlie tried to say the right thing but it came out all wrong. Then we were there. I can honestly say this is the worst and saddest day in my life.
