Episode One: Coal Badge
Chapter One: Turtwig, I choose you!!!
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" Jake Keenum screamed.
"What happened sweetie?" his Mom asked.
"Bad dream," he replied.
Jake went downstairs to get some breakfast. Jake turned ten years old last week, and he was getting his forst Pokemon today. Like every new Sinnoh trainer, he had three Pokemon to choose from. He liked all of them, but he wanted the grass Pokemon Turtwig.

"Mom, is sis comin' home today?" he asked.
"Well DUH Jake," a voice said from behind him.
"Cindy!!!" Jake ran up to his sister and gave her a hug.
"Hey buddy. You had better eat we gotta' be at Professor Rowan's in an hour," she told him.
"Let's Go!!!" Jake ran out the door.
"Good God, Jake" Cynthia muttered to herself.
Jake ran back in grabbed a muffin (and Cynthia) and ran out the door.
His big Sister, Cynthia, was the Champion of the Elite Four. She had chosen Turtwig as her starter, but after it evolved into Torterra, she left it at Professor Rowan's lab for him to continue his study on evolution. Professor Rowan was the person who gave every trainer in Sinnoh their first Pokemon.

KNOCK,KNOCK,KNOCK!!!
"Hello, who's there?" a deep voice asked.
"It's us Professor," Cynthia told him.
"Ah, yes. I'm guessing you brought Jake," he stated.
"Well, Jake drug me out the door,"
"Ha!!! Well let's not keep him waiting,"
Jake saw three Pokemon sitting on a table. One was the water Pokemon Piplup, the fire Pokemon Chimchar, and the grass Pokemon Jake had waited ten years for, Turtwig.
"Professor, there's someone here to see you," one of the assitants told him.

A girl and her sister walked in just as Jake was about to choose his Pokemon. Jake instantly recognized her as his closest friend, Hailey Williams. He had completely forgot they turned ten on the same day, and were also to get their Pokemon on the same day.
"Hello Hailey."
"Hello Professor." she replied
She smiled at Jake and he smiled back. Jake and Hailey had been friends since they had started school. They were playing with the Pokemon while the adults were talking.
Professor Rowan watched them as they played with the Pokemon. "I belive you two are good friends, no?" the Professor asked.
"Yes. Why?" they both inquired in sync.
"Then you two should travel together during your journey then."
"I think we can handle that," Jake replied.
Well it was time to pick their Pokemon. Jake was quick to pick Turtwig and Hailey followed close behind picking Piplup. They both went home packed their bags and met up at the exit to Sandgem town and started their Journey.
