"Oh, look! He's coming this way!" Angel squeezed onto her boyfriend's arm. She reached over to the small pile of bread slices she had brought along. She tore off a small piece from the corner of one slice and tossed it gently to the nearby pigeon.

The bird cooed happily as he was eating it. Pretty soon, he was waddling closer…wanting more.

"Awwww!" Angel squealed. "Aren't they cute??"

"Ducks are cuter." Collins grinned.

"Honey, not so loud. You'll hurt his feelings…"

"Hey, gimme a piece of bread…I wanna feed it!"

Angel giggled and handed one over to him.

Collins could barely supress his evil grin. He slowly and methodically ripped a corner off of the slice of bread.

The pigeon looked at him with those black, beady little eyes.

Collins chucked the piece of bread at the bird, bouncing it off his head. Startled, the poor thing took off.

"Honey!!" Angel gasped, swatting him on the shoulder. "That wasn't very nice!"

Collins was guffawing loudly,he slammed his fist down on the bench underneath them. "I've always wanted to do that! Greedy little bastards…"

Angel shook her head and let her gaze travel around the park. She began to loose herself in thought….

Splat!

A sharp gasp from Collins snapped her back to reality. She turned to look at him.

"Thomas? What's the…?" She stopped speaking as she stared at him.

Collins sat there stiffly, mouth open wide. A look of horror and disgust twisting his features.

Bird shit was in his hair and dripping down the right side of his face.

"...Oh my God! Close…your…mouth…!" Angel was hunched over, tears forming in her eyes she was laughing so hard.

At her words, Collins snapped out of the shock he was in and shut his mouth. He really preferred not to taste bird shit.

"OH,YUUUCK!" He cried, roughly wiping his face with his sleeve.

Meanwhile, Angel was still laughing.

"Angelcaaake!" Collins pouted. "This is not funny!"

"I hate to say this, baby…but you were kind of asking for it. I mean, scaring a poor lil' bird like that. It's karma."

Collins stared at her for a minute. Then he sighed heavily.

"Yeah, I guess you're right…"

Angel gave his hand a gentle squeeze. She grinned at him, smiling seductively.

"Let's go home, honey. You and I can get in the shower…" She paused here, letting Collins think about it. "…And I'll wash that nasty bird poop out of your hair. What do you say?"

Collins was immediately cheerful again.
