Tenten has Tsunade as her role model. Sakura adopted the blond powerhouse as her own role model later on. Sasuke has Itachi, always, in the back of his mind, to serve as a goal. Shikamaru has Asuma. Naruto has had various people at various points of his life: the Sandaime, Iruka, Kakashi, and Jiraiya. Hinata has Naruto and Kurenai.
The thing that none of the rising generation realized is that there is no such thing as a role model for shinobi. Naruto refuses to accept the ugliness in his society. Hinata stubbornly sees only the good in people. Tenten averts her eyes when she ends the lives of innocent, accidental witnesses. Sasuke, for all his selfishness, does not kill those who did nothing to him in an effort to not be exactly like Itachi.
Jiraiya knows there are no role models because they are all murderers.
