Shades of Blue

It had been roughly two weeks since the dark blue haired Johan had transferred to Duel Academy. The moment Sho met him, he was in awe. Johan had the most gorgeous shade of green eyes and his body was perfect, among other things, too.

Sho couldn't help but yearn to be in his arms, but he had no idea how to tell him this.

'I can't even be in the same room with him without losing my ability to talk and eventually having to leave because I'm too embarrassed. So how am I going to tell him how I feel?'

Sho paced around Judai's and his room.

After attempting to come up with a plan, shooting each and every one down, Sho grabbed his green spiral notebook and a pencil. He sighed heavily and sat on the couch. He turned to where his back was against the arm of the chair and his knees were up just enough to set the notebook on. Sho turned the pages until he found one that was clean and began to doodle monsters from his deck to take his mind off his dilemma.

He was about to finish a sketch of Drillroid when he heard a knock at the door.

"Come in!" he shouted, not wanting to rise from his seat.

Sho did not bother seeing who it was and continued to finish his sketch.

"Um...hey." The visitor said.

Sho looked up, startled. He blushed at the sight of Johan and looked down at his notebook.

"Judai's not here right now. I-I think he's with Kenzan." Sho managed.

"Oh, ok. But that's not why I came over...I'm here to ask you a question, Sho."

Johan closed the door and sat next to Sho. Another blush crept over Sho's face.

"I've been noticing you staring at me a lot lately and I was wondering," He started, "Do you like me?"

Sho tried to think of something to say but before he could, Johan said,

"Because I like you."

Sho looked up amazed that anyone, especially Johan, could like him.

"I-I do like you, Johan." Sho stammered.

Johan smiled brightly and leaned toward him. Sho's silver eyes widened while Johan pushed the notebook aside and moved one of Sho's legs aside to get closer to the blue haired chibi. Their noses were almost touching when Johan wrapped his arms around Sho. The dark blue haired boy leaned in, pressing his lips against Sho's. Sho closed his eyes, kissing him back.

Their kiss ended and Sho moved closer into Johan's embrace. They sat there for quite some time all the while Sho thought,

'All I wanted was to be in his arms, and I got exactly that.'

Sho snuggled against Johan's chest and sighed.
