So I started college today. Yay. And I'm feeling vaguely homicidal right now, so here's Hayden.
Chapter 1:
After everything was said and done, he thought life would be just gold. It was, for a little while. Then everything went to hell in a few short years, resulting in the death of his family and friends and basically every member of his species. See, he was a wizard. A fairly powerful one, if he said so himself. But he can't right now. Because he's dead.
This Harry Potter lived a long life. Attained a good seventy-seven years before a muggle (non-magic folk) got lucky and shot him in the leg. Harry felt sort of sorry for the lad. Looked barely out of his teens and had a terrified look on his face, he did. Ah well, he was about to die soon so he didn't give a damn.
If this were any story, it would be a short one, ending in the death of Harry Potter. Fortunately (or unfortunately, from a certain point of view), this was not a short story and it's about Mister Potter's life after death.
Well, sort of. See, he met this... thing that was vaguely annoyed at the whole proceedings. It explained how everyone in the room were given a chance to go back. To the past, where they all could redo things, for better, or worse. He met a peculiar man, who seemed to have a permanent smirk on his face, whose face lit up when the thing announced that Lord Voldemort was there soulmate.
Oh, yes. Lord Voldemort. He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. The Dark Lord. He-Who-Loved-To-Crucio. Tom Marvolo Riddle. Such a bad man, who made Harry's life hell. The son of a bitch who turned out to be right in the end for the wrong reasons.
See, the muggles... well, lets just say they found out about magic and the world went to hell. With Harry taking down as many as he could before the end. It was not pretty and we don't want to dwell on it. A lot of bad things happened, and Harry (now called Hayden due to him meeting all the other Harrys of the multiverse and agreeing with them to change their name. Rabbit was irritated by the way.) was sent back to change it. Make sure the same thing didn't happen again on his side of the world.
And for that, we wish him luck, and hope that this quest won't destroy him.
