Percy's POV
Wow! When Zeus offered me the god position, I agreed under one condition: Annabeth becomes a god too.
I was in the middle of almost about to start hyperventilating, but Athena said, "Being a god isn't always the best choice. Even I sometimes long to be a mortal." "Well," Annabeth countered, "Sometimes mortals long to be gods." That shut Athena up. While we were having that 'conversation' I think Posieden kept looking between us two. After we stopped arguing, he said, "Percy, the process for you and Annabeth is going to be a very long process and maybe even painful."
I still thought being a god was going to be waaaaay better than being a mortal. "Can we start the process?" I asked. "Ok, but first you are going to have almost a lethal amount nectar."
Nectar, the drink of the gods, if drank too much by Demi-god, could be lethal. As we started drinking the Ambrosia, everything felt wonderful. But, as usual with my luck, it's started hurting so much. When that part was over, Annabeth and I kept groaning, "It hurts so much!"
"You are now immortal, but not a god yet." Suddenly everybody started chanting in Greek so ancient that even I didn't know. Or I'm really bad at my Greek. Suddenly Annabeth, Me, and Riptide suddenly started glowing. "Percy, you are now the minor god of water and the tide, your sword now has the power to write, and to shoot water. And if you want more ask Hephaestus. Oh yeah, and it can make enchiladas appear out of thin air." Guess which ability I tested first, the best one! I waved my sword and a plate with enchiladas appeared. "Woah! Awesome!"
Just then an image appeared and I saw a… Water nymph drowning?
"If you rescue this nymph, you have proved you are worthy of being a god."
Hey guys. I will try to add at least one chapter per week.
