As the school becomes nearly empty, a certain white haired midfielder was still on his endless search to find a fellow midfielder of his. And with each place failing to find the said midfielder, a cussing session, an occasional grimace and some grumbling comes with it. The search was very grueling in his view, and the blame was his odd teammate, Izumi Kanaaki.

He could've just clearly stated the location of their meeting, for he said that he had something to tell him. And with those words, his curiosity was easily risen. Though sometimes the things the aquamarine eyed boy say might have a catch in it, this time his eyes showed sincerity, which wasn't like his usual mindless gaze.

As he finally reached his last destination of the search, his own class. As he slid the door open, the sight of Izumi sitting on one of the tables, nonchalantly throwing a paper airplane to an unspecified direction. Deep down, Tobisawa felt a strong urge to wreck the whole class, however he knew he'd have to try controlling his short fused self. Instead he sighed, exhaling all his frustration away.

"You've been here all along, huh? What's the thing you were going to tell me?" The white haired boy started approaching the latter's spot, as a short pause came along. "Life is just an ephemeral game, it becomes nondescript for some whose life is a monotone cycle, mine, for instance. The reason I indirectly sent you on a search was to stall some time for myself for deeper thinking. But now— "

"I know that sometimes you can be a bit peculiar, but this is really out of your regular weirdness. Just be straight with me, before I blow up." Tobisawa interrupted, with a somewhat joking manner noticed by the grey haired boy as he chuckled slightly. "You know your best friend well." He smirked, unnerving the blue eyed midfielder as his tan cheeks redden. As he was left off guard, the latter threw a paper airplane at him, eventually bringing him back to Earth.

"What's this?" Tobisawa looked down, focusing on the fallen paper airplane. Though his question was left unanswered by Izumi, who turned to his back at the latter. With confusion of the suddenly thrown airplane, the tanned boy averted his gaze to the window, showing the darkening sky outside. "We should really go home now, the school's going to close soon." He said, slightly dazing the latter.

"Yeah, sure." Izumi sighing in somewhat relief. "What about this?" Tobisawa said, referring to the airplane. "It's your choice, throw it away or open it." As they finished preparing to leave, the short fused boy dropped it on one of the recycling bins on the way out of class. "It's a waste of a loose leaf, and it'll be better to recycle it." He said, trying to defend his actions, earning a relieved smile from the latter.

Behind the relieved smile is disappointment of another failure. Unknown to latter is a small writing in the paper airplane.

So I'm back with another one shot of one of my underrated ships! This wasn't really inspired from anything, unlike most of my other work though. Making this was actually pretty hard, since Izumi doesn't really have much of a personality, unlike Tobisawa. But I portrayed him as a bit odd because a lot of his fanart portray him in that way too. Well this was simply OOC, but enjoy anyways!
