It all started with an invitation. A verbal invitation from Rachael Lazer."Diana," she had said. That's my name. Diana Greene. I'm sixteen. "Diana, do you want to come to the beach with me, Drake, Matt, Felix and Gabriella on Saturday?" Rachael was my best friend. I had to say yes. So I did "Sure! I would love to!" I had said. One of the reasons was because I didn't want to let Rachael down. The other reason was that Drake Lakerton, Callem Herron , Felix Palon and Gabriella Ballon were going. It was wrong to have a crush on three boys and a friends brother, but I can explain why. We all go to a privet boarding school called 'Senter Academy' for 'problem children.' We all got sent here for a reason. I shoplifted a lot and sometimes I still do. Rachael sold tobacco and alcohol to younger kids at her school. Felix got sent here because he suffered from depression and he cut himself with a knife sometimes. Drake shot someone who was apparently pissing him off so badly that he just had to shut them up and he just so happened to have a gun. Callem has anger issues and he once set his step dad's bed alight after they got into a fight. Gabriella gave her little sisters drugs and then smashed her face in. The reason I had a crush on Drake was
because he had sandy blonde hair and the most amazing blue eyes, his saddism was actually somewhat attractive. Callem had blonde hair and striking green eyes. Felix had long-ish fair hair and brown eyes, he also had a sense of humour, which was certainly not to be ignored. Gabriella had an older brother called Gabriel, he had tanned skin, brown eyes and black hair. "Okay, we'll go at seven O'clock and leave at eight" Rachael announced. Then our form teacher, Mr Luban, came into the room. We all jumped down off the tables and sat in our chairs. Mr Luban was the most boring teacher in the world, so I turned around to stare at the clock at the back of the room. As I looked to the back of the room, I noticed a girl I had never seen before. She had thick, light brown hair and piercing green eyes. She stared back at me, studying me. I turned back to the front of the room, slightly intimidated by her. Me, Diana Greene, intimidated by a girl I didn't even know! I turned around to sneak a look at her every now and then, and with no doubt she was always looking back at me. Thankfully the bell went, and I ran out of the room. My head was swimming with questions to ask the strange girl, but when I peeked back into the classroom, she had gone.
