The Not so Super Adventures of Star and Marco

Sunny Ice Cream Saturdays vs. Rainy Nacho Sundays

Saturday was supposed to be a fun day for everyone, especially students who rattled their brains out on quizzes and tests and Sunday was the day everyone tries to make the most out of their last day of freedom. Saturday was an awesome day, with tons of people going out for an ice cream on this particularly hot day and children playing with each other at the park or teens hanging out at a local pizza joint. Sunday seemed to go the same way. But it turns out that this sunshiny day turned in a gloomy one. Clumps of gloomy grey clouds blocked up the sun and sent a barrage of rain down on the city.

Star and Marco were just going out for a walk in the park for some ice cream when the city suddenly darkened. They knew what came next so they ran as fast as their feet could go, trying to avoid the blue pellets falling on their heads. The rain caught up to them though, and Marco gave Star his red hoodie. She needed it more then he did. They laughed as they ran through the mud and puddles, their house was still far down the road anyway and they tried making the most of it.

They arrived home with Marco soaking wet and Star mostly dry thanks to Marco's Hoodie. "We better change before we mess the house." said Marco while panting from exhaustion. "Yeah, we better." Star said in return. Star went into the shower first while Marco went upstairs to his room. As soon as he closed the door, he immediately went to his bedside table and pressed a secret button behind his lamp. The lamp opened up and saw all his memories of him and Star together. Pictures with her on Mewni, a gem from the Shard Mines, a rose from the Blood Moon Ball, a token from the arcade, and his newest addition, a picture of him and Star eating ice cream at the park. He closed up the lamp and got his towel ready.

Later...

"Marcoooooooo!" Star's screaming gave him a heart attack so severe, he should've died already. He finished taking a bath and wanted to take a nap. 30 minutes later, Star wanted some triangle food and saw Marco asleep on his bed. She tried waking him up with soft pokes and nudges but it quickly escalated from there.

"Ahhhhhhhh!" Marco screamed as fell off his bed headfirst. "Star! What the heck! I was dreaming of princesses, unicorns and butterflies!" It was Marco's code for the time they broke Pony Head out of St. Olga's. To him, that was the best adventure he had, being transformed into a princess, saving princesses, and being turned into one himself. "I. Waaannnnt. TRI. ANG. GLE. FOOOD!" Star shouted, heavily pronouncing each syllable. Marco has seen her go crazy before, but never like this. His face went pale and rushed to the kitchen, taking whatever ingredients he needed for the nachos. He blasted the nachos into the oven and quickley started working on the cheese. He took out the hot nachos from the oven, almost burnt, and almost dropped them because they were too hot despite waering oven mittens. He hurriedly mixed them in a bowl and dumped the cheese on top and dashed to the living room where Star had been waiting. "H-here Star." Marco said with his voice trembling and fearfully placed the nachos in front of her, not wanting anymore trouble. "Thanks Marco!" Star said with her normal, cheery voice. Then she screamed, "Now watch a movie with me!" Marco sighed. There are some things he would never get.
