Amongst the chaos he stood

And it was a miracle.

Panic occoured all around

And the fire ate everything it touched.

Blood and fire and luggage

Strewn acorss the sand.

For what once was paradise

Was lost.

And in the confusion

He lay with the wreckage

Barely scratched and fully alive

Even though the fall could have killed him;

Should have killed him.

But the miracle was not

That he was alive

Or unhurt.

The miracle was

When he could not

Should not have been able to

He stood

And he was alive

For the first time.
