Eternal War
Oh boy. There will be war.
Guards up & ready to defend her.
This battle she can not lose.
Her army was weakened by previous encounters and may not withstand theses harsh attacks.
They try their best, pushing their limits till they crumble.
Oh please let them win, for she can't handle that pain which will follow.
Locked up and hidden. Secure, we can only hope.
His army so much stronger, his horses so much wilder.
The sun refuses to shine for this constant battle brings no happiness.
Evil will take over the paradise she lives in.
Oh how she pushes it away with all she has in her.
Her soldiers are down, and his come flooding in.
Pure rampage through her castle looking for that small precious thing which she hold dear.
She cries and fights against armor she bruises.
Her knees give and fall.
Her mind slowly drowns.
Her eyes water while her weakened arms attempt to protect.
But she has lost, and she knows it.
He won that battle, once again.
Secretly she hides the hint of a smile forms.
He's the bravest one that would dare battle her guards.
And so she knew her heart would be safe under his gentle touch.
AN: This is my first poemFic I guess you would call it. At first it was just me writing but after I reread it (the original is on my xanga if you want to see it) I could see the Dasey in it so I changed it a little bit and this is what happened.
So if you didn't get it, which sucks cause that means I didn't do a good job, it's about Casey and Derek's constant battles and how she guard her heart so carefully. But he keeps going until he wins her over and she falls for him. Then she all worried and scared till she realizes that he loves her too and that's why he never stopped fighting her.
But then again you can make it about any couple in Life with Derek, i just think it works best with them, since i made it about them.
