"Bella!!! Ahhhh! Help me!" I stopped doing my crossword puzzle and went to see what Alice needed.

"What, Alice?" I ran over to her.

"Look at the big bug on the wall!"

"Where??" I asked her. I got a paper towel and went back to Alice.

"Right there!" she pointed to something little and black on the wall. I got up on the radiator.

"Alice, this is an-" I went crashing through the window and fell to the ground. Alice looked out of the window.

"Oops!" She peered out of the window.

"You make me stop doing my crossword puzzle to come and squish a huge bug, when it's really an ant, and I crash through the window, and you say oops!!" I couldn't believe it. I was going to have to go to the hospital. I was bleeding and glass was stuck in my leg. Good thing I had my cell phone in my pocket. I took it out and called Edward so he could come home and take me to the hospital to see Carlisle.

"Hello?" Edward's warm, velvety voice answered.

"I need you to bring me to the hospital."

"What'd you do this time?"

"Long story. I'll tell you in the car."

"Okay, I'm on my way." I hung up the phone. Now Edward was really going to laugh at this.

Edward came home about two minutes ago. He carried me to the front seat and carefully set me down. He hopped in the car.

"Okay, what's the story?" he asked, shaking his head. I really got hurt too much.

"Well, I was just sitting down on the couch, doing a crossword puzzle. Then, Alice started screaming, so I went to see what she was doing. Apparently, there was a big bug," I said, doing air quotes to the big bug part.

"She told me to get the bug, so I climbed on the radiator and was going to squish it, when I fell through the window. And it was closed." He rolled his eyes and started laughing hysterically.

"It's not funny!!!" I screamed at him.

"Yes it is."

"I'm gonna need stitches and you're laughing!!"

"Okay, fine, I'll stop laughing." He got serious.

"Well?" I asked him.

"Well what? I'm not a doctor." "I was talking about the radio." "Ohhh." He turned the radio on to a rock station.

We got there probably about five minutes later, with Edward driving. He parked the car up close and opened the door on the other side for me. He picked me up and carried me in.

"Thanks, Edward."

"No problem, love." I smiled.

We got to the reception desk. The lady there looked up.

"Bella Cullen. She fell out of the window." The lady gave Edward a weird look.

"Listen, I need to see Dr. Cullen." Edward rushed me to Carlisle's office without the lady even answering.

"Carlisle, you need to sew Bella up. She fell out of the window."

Carlisle sewed me up and Edward brought me back to the house.
