A/N: You know those moments when you desperately need to write a short ficlet? Yeah, this is once of those moments. I love Seras, and it shows in this ficlet. XD I've always loved her. I'm sad that Integra isn't in this ficlet though. She's the awesomeness. xD ANYHOW. Here's the fic.

Rating: Deathly PG.

Disclaimer: Hellsing, Sir Alucard, and Miss Seras Victoria belong to people who sadly aren't me.

The Flower Garden

It was a beautiful night. The moon shone brightly and the stars high above sparkled vibrantly. It was so peaceful and quiet that Seras felt she could fall asleep right then are there in the flower garden. She sat gently on the ground, picking out her favorite flowers. Wind blew her hair back and she smiled, picking a pretty yellow tulip from the stem, and letting it go to have it fly in the breeze.

"Police Girl."

Seras jumped and turned around, only to see her master, smirking at her from the other side of the garden. Knowing he was probably just there to torment her, she sighed and went back to picking flowers.

"It's not polite to ignore," Alucard stated smugly. A bit annoyed from him ruining her peaceful moment, Seras sighed and turned to meet his gaze. He was closer to her now.

"Yes Master?" she said quickly. She tried not to show annoyance in her voice, but failed miserably.

"May I ask what you're doing?" He was annoyed; he's tone both smug and harsh making a chilly combination.

"Just enjoying the night, and the manor's garden, Master. It really is nice out here... Care to join? I can put flowers in your hair... You'd look really... pretty.... Master." Seras started off giggling, but ended nervously...

For Alucard did not find the joke too funny. Which was a surprise to Seras, for she had thought her master found just about everything in the world funny; he certainly smirked at just about everything. Alucard glared at her coldly. "I believe you have me mistaken for your Bernadette...I am not a sap who enjoyed skipping through flower fields. Come, Sir Integra wants us in her office."

"All right then..." Seras stood up and wiped the dirt off her skirt. Looking back sadly at her peaceful garden, she walked over to where Alucard was standing. She held out a rose. It was blood red with many thorns; but over all beautiful. Alucard took it, and looked at Seras as if she had gone mad.

She explained; "Red with a lot of thorns. Reminds me of someone I know... Like it, Master?"

Letting the flower fly with the breeze, Alucard released it, and drew out his Jackal. With a growel he shot the flower, making it drop to the ground with a splat, landing among the blue daises.

"Does that answer your pathetic little question, Police Girl?" even more annoyed, Alucard growled, "monsters are not sentimental. You are a monster now; act like it. You would do better in a firing range than a flower garden."

"Yes Master," Seras whimpered. She was hurt, but kept it hidden. Seras had spent quite a while choosing her favorite rose, hoping she could somehow open up her master with a small but (what she thought) touching joke.

Alucard seemed to ignore her. "Good. Follow me to Integra's office," he spoke firmly. He opened up a portal, and lead Seras in first.

Putting away his gun Alucard looked back at the garden. With a smirk he watched as a yellow tulip landed beside the shot and seemingly bleeding rose. He stepped into his portal.

"Reminds me of someone I know..."
