This is my new story.

Same characters, sort of same idea as my other story, 'Dauntless Leaders', but I was sort of getting tired of that plotline, so here's a fresh new story.

Tris

Names suddenly appear on the huge screen hovering above all the initiates. I scan the list from the bottom, looking for my name. I don't see any names I recognize until I reach number 6.

6: Christina

5: Will

I'm relieved that Will and Christina made it. Christina squeals behind me. The last names appear and I quickly look at them.

4: Lynn

3: Peter

2: Uriah

My heart drops every name I read that isn't my own, but the huge weight sitting on my shoulders lifts as soon as I see the top name.

1: Tris

A smile spreads across my face. I feel hands slapping my back, and Christina hugs me.

"Way to go, Tris!" exclaims Will, and Uriah gives me a high five. Everyone bursts into chatter, and I scan the crowd for Tobias. I see him and push through the crowd towards him. He sees me and gives me a huge grin.

"Would it be appropriate to kiss you right now?"

"I don't care."

I stand on my tiptoes and wrap my arms around his neck, kissing him. I pull away, and laugh when I see Christina and Will gaping at me.

"Yeah, I'll have to explain that later…" I mutter, smiling up at Tobias.
