Summary: Moriarty reflects on his life since Sherlock entered it. (Moriarty lives on after S3)

Characters: Moriarty

Notes: This story is as if Moriarty is FOR SURE back. (I don't really have a clue whether he is or not. I kinda hope he is because I love Andrew Scott as an actor.)

'Staying Alive' was never very difficult. It was dull. Nothing new came in play. Every once in a while there was a smart person that could play, but it never lasted. They eventually faded into the background like everything else. They never found out who I actually was. Even my clients didn't realize who I truly was and am. I was just the man behind the curtain.

I lurk in the shadows controlling everything. As a faded man put it: "A spider, not a man, knowing what string to pull." But this man did not entirely fade. He came back. Just as I did. No one expected that, and all of England now knows I am back. I, like him, am prepared to do anything.

I have to say though, I was looking forward to shake hands with him in Hell. But that did not happen, we both lived! After he 'died' he ran around taking down all of my known networks. I never realized to what extent Sherlock Holmes would go to tear me down. How sweet.

But now I am back prepared to go even further. I wonder how much I can make this fly dance before I devour him and eat him whole. This fly has been much more fascinating than any other insect caught on my web. Now it is time for him to go.
