A little one shot of how Chase and Pamela first meet! Enjoy!

"Officer Brady!" shouted the chief of police of the Boston PD, "You ready for your first day as an official police officer with no evaluations to prepare for?"

"As ready as I'll ever be," said Pamela jumping into the driver's side of the police car, "Are doing anything besides giving out speeding tickets?"

"Nope because that's about what we do here," said the chief. They drove to a section of the highway that was known for having speeders along it. Pamela sat there with the radar gun until someone sped by going 90 miles per hour on a 65. The pair drove behind him and sounded the horn until the other driver pulled over slowly. The chief looked over at Pamela and asked, "You got this Brady?"

Pamela nodded and walked up beside the driver, "License, registration, and proof of insurance please?"

The driver handed her the desired items and this was the first time she was able to see him face to face. He had dark brown hair, brown eyes, a chiseled jaw, and of course, any man looked better with a Red Sox hat on in her opinion, "No problem Red."

Pamela looked up at him, "Call me Red again!"

"Re…" started the driver, "Sorry, I mean Officer. Officer…"

"Brady. Pamela Brady," she said, "Okay Mr." she looked down at the license, "Err, Private Moran, you realize you were going 90 in a 65 mile per hour zone. "

"Oh gosh, I'm so sorry Officer," he rambled, "I didn't even realize. I've been trying to get everything ready since I leave for training at Fort Bliss in Texas tomorrow. You know one more goodbye to your town. And your teams. And your friends and family."

Pamela shook her head. He was clearly trying to talk his way out of the ticket. And for some reason it was working, "But since you were speeding I'll let you off with a warning but I have to make it look like I've written you a ticket since the chief of police is right there."

"No problem Officer Brady," said the driver, "And call me Chase by the way."

Pamela nodded and handed a piece of paper to Chase. He drove off at the proper speed limit as she got back into the police car.

"So Brady, I take it that was ticket speed in your opinion?" asked the chief.

Pamela shrugged her shoulders, "I guess it was." What the chief didn't realize is the only thing she had given Private Chase Moran was her phone number and the words 'Call Me.'
