Another Thomas rewrite, this time it's the classic "Whistles and Sneezes" from Season 1, with added lines by tate310. Enjoy and comment.

One morning, Gordon was very cross.

"Why should Henry have a new shape?" he grumbled. "A shape good enough for me, is good enough for him. He always goes gallivanting off, leaving us to do his work, and comes back happier than ever! It's disgraceful!"

The other engines became cross as well.

"And on the other hand, he whistles too much, especially at stations! It isn't wrong, but we just don't do it!"

Poor Henry was very upset.

"Never mind Henry." whispered Percy kindly. "I'm glad that you're back home again, and I like your whistling!"

"Goodbye Henry!" called Gordon. "We're glad that you're home again, but remember what I said!"

Edward was waiting at Wellsworth Station when Henry arrived to see him.

"Hello Henry!" he said. "I'm pleased to hear your happy whistle again!"

"Thank you Edward!" whistled Henry.

Just then, the two engines heard a loud sound.

"Do you hear that?" asked Henry.

"It sounds like a whistle!" replied Edward. "Kind of sounds like Gordon, but he never whistles like that.

And it was. Gordon. He came rushing down the hill at warp speed. He didn't look at Henry, and he didn't look at Edward, he just whooshed pass the station.

"What was that!" exclaimed Edward.

"It isn't wrong!" chuckled Henry, "but we just don't do it!"

Meanwhile, Gordon screeched across the line. The noise was awful!

At the station, everyone covered their ears, including Sir Topham Hatt.

"Take him away!" he yelled, and stop that noise!"

Gordon puffed sadly away, but he wouldn't stop whistling until two men came up and knocked his whistle valve into place.

That night, Gordon slumped into the shed. He was glad it was empty.

"It isn't wrong!" murmured Henry to no one in particular, "but we just don't do it!"

Next morning, Henry was enjoying himself enormously.

"I feel so well, I feel so well!" he sang.

"Trickety truck, trickety truck!" hummed his coaches.

Then he saw some boys on a bridge.

"Peep, peep! Hello!" he whistled.

But the boys threw stones at Henry, shattering the glass of his coaches!

"They've broken our glass, they've broken our glass!" cried the coaches.

Nobody was hurt, but the passengers were very cross.

"Call the police!" yelled a passenger.

"No." said the driver. "Leave it to Henry and me!"

"What will you do?" asked the passengers.

"Can you keep a secret?"

"Yes!" exclaimed the passengers.

"Henry is going to sneeze at those naughty boys."

The next morning, lots of people were waiting at the station just before the bridge, waiting to see what would happen.

"Henry's fire is nicely lit, and he has plenty of steam" said the driver. Please shut all windows until we pass the bridge. Are you excited Henry?"

Henry felt more stuffed up than excited.

Soon they could see the boys, all ready with stones.

"Are you ready Henry?" said the driver. Sneeze hard when I tell you."

"Okay!" replied Henry.

"Now!" called the driver.

"AH-CHOO!"

The sneeze covered the boys with dust from head to toe.

"Well done Henry!" exclaimed his driver.

Henry went home, hoping that next time he saw Gordon and the boys, that they would be nicer, and not mean.
