This is a small story, not long at all. It's the first short story/one-shot I wrote. I probably wrote it, a year and a half ago? I don't know, but it's just something that came to me randomly one day.
I hope you like it! Please review. Enjoy and thanks for reading! :)
Annabeth:
It was breezy and cool. Of course that's the kind of weather you get when you're on the beach at 3:00 in the morning. I shivered again, and Percy tightened his hold around me trying to make me warmer but ending up doing so in a completely different way. We were on the beach at Camp-Half Blood. We made sure to meet at a time that nobody would be awake. I looked into his sea-green eyes and knew deep in my heart that he was the one. That I loved him, no one else.
"Guess what I just realized?" I asked.
"What?" Percy replied
"I just realized that I'm being held by the most kind, handsome person in the entire world. And that I love him." I said, wondering if he felt the same way. . .
"I love you to." He said. Then he kissed me and wrapped his hands down to my waist trying to pull me closer (if that was possible). I moved my hands from his chest, intertwining them behind his neck. We stayed like that for probably just a few minutes, maybe an hour, who knows? Everything was so beautiful, the moonlight shining down on us while the waves lapped on the shore. Everything was completely serene, until I heard muffled laughs, what could that be?
"I'm going to kill them," Percy said, a little angered. What was going on? "You two can't give us a few minutes alone!"
"What's going on?" I asked trying to pull him down on the ground, because he was already standing up. Then I looked in the direction he was, as two figures came out from behind a giant oak. I noticed them in an instant, Thalia and Nico.
"Were sorry, Percy. We had no reason to interrupt your private life." Thalia said, still chuckling.
"I'm not," Nico said. "All three of us are family! We should be allowed to know what happens in each other's personal lives. So, Annabeth have you and Percy gone past second- base yet?" I blushed deeply and Thalia started cracking up so loud that it probably woke up some of the campers.
"That's it. You two are dead!" Percy screamed running towards them.
"Ah!" Thalia and Nico screamed in unison. Half was probably jokingly the other half was probably legit fear. After all they were on the beach, not so safe for children of Zeus and Hades. I watched them run down the beach and get dowsed with saltwater and I ended up laughing a little myself. Yeah, I guess Nico was right. They are family.
