I was thinking about those guy hugs Booth gave Brennan and obviously they weren't really guy hugs. I mean I've never seen a guy hug another guy like that lol. So yeah this drabble was just begging to be written.

Guy hugs.
She watched her partner intently as he walked towards his former army buddy, a grin on his face. The other man had already spread out his arms and Booth met him halfway across the pavement, his arms wrapping around the man's body and patting him several times on the back in a way only male friends did that. She raised an eyebrow as she heard the stranger's voice float through the opened car window. Followed by laughter from her partner
''Been a while since that last guy hug, Seeley.''
So that was a guy hug. Well she was fairly certain that Booth had never given her a brief hug like that. Let alone patting her back in that way. Shaking her head she watched as the two men issued each other a quick goodbye and her partner came jogging back to his car, a smile still on his face. He got into the car and buckled his belt. Brennan didn't take her eyes off of him even once and eventually he shifted in his seat, facing her.
''What?'' She smiled.
''So that was a guy hug, huh?'' She watched as he blushed and shrugged his shoulders, starting the car and focusing his eyes on the road.
And he didn't speak another word the entire way to her apartment, knowing that she knew. That she knew all those hugs he had given her weren't really guy hugs, but that they were just an excuse to hold her close.
