Dragon Ball Generations Chapter 1: Universal: A Heart-Breaking Wish (1-2), a dragon ball z fanfic

"Maybe you'll come back someday as...as a better person, I hope. Perhaps we'll have a little one on one."

Goku grinned at the thought of the potential future fight, his golden Super Saiyan aura humming around him he watched with his right hand outstretched as the mighty azure/white sphere of the Super Spirit Bomb threatened to vaporise Majin Buu, the pink demon with white baggy trousers the strongest opponent the warrior had ever encountered.

"Adiós," Goku smiled, saluting Buu with two fingers to his forehead. "I'll be waitin' for you Majin Buu!" He shouted before roaring the Spirit Bomb electrified from the push of Goku's energy and slammed into Majin Buu who screamed in something he had never felt before. Fear.

Fear, as he watched his pink body evaporate into the azure sphere, screaming as his body was disintegrated from the combined might of Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, the Z-Fighters, the Otherworld Fighters and the people of the Earth had finally ended the five million year old destroyer created by Bibidi.

Goku huffed his golden aura faded and his hair fell into its black messy state. Little did he know King Yemma had overheard his request...

Then ten years later, in the World Martial Arts Tournament he encountered the reincarnation of Majin Buu. A boy with incredible power, dark skinned, black mohawk wearing brown robe slung over his left shoulder with baggy white trousers.

His name was Uub.

Universal Saga:
1. A Heart-Breaking Wish (1/2):

Age 787

"Soon the Four Star Dragon Ball will be mine and I'll finally be able to have my wish." snickered the small blue imp-like creature.

Tap-tap-tap- "Come on..." The Imp tapped his left foot impatiently in front of a broken and beaten castle in the middle of Diablo Desert... "Where are they? I want my balls!"

TAP-TAP-TAP- "I've had enough!" the imp picked up his radio "Mai have you found the four star ball yet?!" shouted the small imp jumping up and down in anger.

A wheezy voice came from the radio "No Pilaf... For the eight-hundredth time no we haven't found it. We have only been searching for five minutes, out!"

The Emperor gritted his teeth and began recklessly punching the wall of his already beaten castle in relentless anger, screaming all sorts of curses.

Present - 12th June AGE 789:

Five years later... In the open, barren, canyon-like area, two figures stood staring into the distance of the open blue sky.

Finally, the silence was broken by one of the two figures. One was stood back-turned looking boldly over the great canyon.

"Hey Master, is this the same place where you and Vegeta fought long ago?" Uub asked looking around imagining the fierce battle; his eyes filled with pride and wonder. After meeting Goku at the World Tournament five years ago he had come to love the stories of Goku and his friend's adventures. All except for one that is – the story of Majin Buu, the long awaited day that Uub would find out about origin...

"Hmm..." Goku stood there rubbing the back of his head; his face filled with confusion "I'm not sure to be honest. The scenery, I can't remember much about that... But the fight? Now that's a fight I'll never forget!" Goku replied with a cheerful grin. "Anyway Uub, are you ready for the the test?"

Uub turned towards him. "What do you mean Master?" he replied with a confused look upon his youthful face.

Goku smiled. "You're nearly as strong as I am now Uub; I've pretty much taught you everything I know now, fighting styles, techniques you name it." Goku put his hands on his hips. "But don't get me wrong, you're still a little naive in some parts..." He chuckled at the pouting child. "So my plan is that we go one more round, and then you're going to train again with other warriors like Piccolo and Vegeta. After that we'll have our last match: no restrictions and all out. How's that sound?"

Uub smirked. "I don't know I don't want to get too strong for you or that last match will be over in a flash. But other than that it sounds good."

Goku laughed and placing his hand on Uub's shoulder. "Haha, I guess we'll see about that!" Goku narrowed his eyes, spread out his legs and crouched with his right arm held close to his side and his left to his face. "Come on let's do this!"

Uub nodded, tightening his belt as he jumped back to the opposite side of the canyon. "Okay, I'm ready!" he shouted, sporting a fighting stance similar to that of Goku's.

Goku stood there in his legendary fighting stance reminiscing about how his Pupil had grown. Over these past five years Uub had changed. He may have kept the same scruffy style of Mohawk but he had clearly changed a lot in other attributes: not only in appearance, but in both strength and confidence. Uub's muscular figure stood at around the same height as Vegeta and he wasn't just a mere timid boy any more: he was a proud, loyal and strong student. Our Uub had trained under many different masters over the years and learned their fighting styles and techniques. He tried to combine his Master's colours as much as possible; around his neck he wore a white heavy-weighted scarf given to him by Piccolo, as well as golden weighted wristbands, Saiyan boots that a certain Prince had given him and his Gi held similarities to Goku's accept that it was a dark blue type of colour.

So much had changed since the fight with Majin Buu and the future of the Earth seemed like a bright one. Goku smiled as the pleasant notion went through his mind.

"Hey Goku!" Uub shouted "Pay attention!" Grinning as he placed two fingers on forehead "I'll start this one of big... Special-Beam-Cannon!"

Uub flung his arm in Goku's direction launching the Special Beam Cannon, the narrow golden beam tinged with purple. A spiral with the same magnificent concentrated energy wrapped around the beam as it accelerated towards Goku.

Goku exited his stance and stood boldly, watching the beam accelerate towards him, his hair and orange Gi flapping around.

"YAAAAAAH!" Goku roared as a golden aura swirled around him and black haired which turned gold lifted as he effortlessly transformed into his Mastered Super Saiyan form. The golden jagged aura exploded around him.

His green eyes locked onto the beam that was mere nanoseconds away.

WHAM! Goku swatted the beam away which exploded into a nearby cliff, exploding it into rubble, throwing the debris and smoke all around.

Then Goku fired forwards at full speed in Uub's direction!

Uub flared his white aura and launched towards him.

They drew back their fists and forced them into each other's. The impact sent a spherical wave which rippled exploded threw the cliffs within the canyon apart.

They snapped their fists back and Uub attacked first throwing a right hook and caught Goku across the cheek, but he rolled with the punch and slammed his foot into Uub's chest, sending him flying backwards.

Goku followed up firing a golden Ki-Blast, which Uub deflected up into the sky. He steadied himself and blocked Goku's next strikes with his forearms and legs.

The two began exchanging a flurry of almost equal kicks, punches and blocks, all creating thunderous sounds and shockwaves as they zipped through the air. None of them managed to land a serious hit on the other –

Uub parried away Goku's jab and rolled backwards from Goku's wide kick and landed his own kick under Goku's jaw who stumbled backwards. Uub charged forwards ramming his shoulder into Goku's stomach doubling him over and then smacked him down with a double-fist.

Goku fired down but flipped in the air at the last second and landed safely on the ground and got into his stance, and watched Uub descend down several feet away from him and crouched into his stance.

They breathed out and in unison they pushed out both of their hands, pointing the clawed hands at each other, pulled the hands to their jaws and twisted their bodies as their position their hands at the sides, pointing their shoulders at the other.

"Ka...me...ha...me..."

Blue energy built up in their hands.

"HA!"

The two threw forward their arms and opened out their clawed hands. Two blue beams blazed toward each other and crashed in the middle, flaring outwards and throwing out crushing energy, shattering rock pillars and threw out a massive wall of smoke as the cancelled each other out.

CRASH! They both shot through the Kamehameha wave, gasping when they realised the other had the same idea and in reflex crashed their knees into each other, crushing down the cliff face even more before back-flipping away from the other.

Goku smirked. "Seems we both had the same idea,"

"That's what happens when one teaches the other." Uub smirked shrugging.

Goku grinned. "How about we take this to the next level?"

He flexed his muscles and clenched his fists to his sides. His aura flared up, flashing out as azure lightning began crackling around him. His hair stood more erect, the four bangs which were once present disappeared and were replaced by one solid bang of hair, and he smirked.

"Here we go..." Uub uttered, bracing himself for the oncoming storm. 'The last time he did this I was nearly downright blown of the planet!' Uub thought, clenching his fists watching. 'Right here goes. Focus! Now it's time to see how far I've come!'

Goku lifted his hands above his head in an x shape and forced them down to his sides, roaring to heavens. The grounds quaked below Uub and began to crack under the pressure of his Masters might. Goku's aura burst outwards until it became spherical and the azure lightning intensified dramatically as he screamed louder.

Power surged through him as his golden hair grew, reaching down to his waist and with one last golden flash of energy he stopped screaming.

And then Super Saiyan Three Goku lowered his head and fiercely stared at Uub.

"What're you waiting for, power up Uub."

Uub lowered his brow in concentration. He raised his arms and clenched his body summoning all his power. A faint glow of red energy illuminated around his body -

"KAIO-KEN, HAAAAA!"

Uub threw out his arms as a ferocious crimson inferno blew out around him. He gritted his teeth and locked eyes with the Super Saiyan Three.

"Here goes!" Uub roared crouching down he blasted forward, the sonic-boom shattering and crushing the ground below him. They both jetted through the air, seeing the golden warrior and his feeling his energy approach rapidly –

They yelled as they crashed into each other with an explosion of fists, kicks and blocks. Each blow sending a spree of thunderously loud shockwaves out, crushing the landscape around them. They gradually ascended in the air, none of them managing to get a critical hit on the other –

"YAH!" Uub blasted backwards, dodging Goku's punch and jetted forwards again leaking the crimson aura he shot his fist forward at Goku's face. But the Saiyan side-stepped out of the way and grabbed Uub by the wrist, and spun him around –

And around –

"RAH!" Goku stopped abruptly and launched Uub face-first over his shoulder, firing him down at a ridiculous speed. Uub could feel his cheeks pulling back, seeing the ground come closer and closer as he desperately tried to pull him out of his fall, sonic booms ricocheting out of him!

It was no use but with a effort he pulled his legs down and flipped to his feet at the last second.

BLAAM! The explosion of Uub crash thunder out for miles, the spherical wave blasting out and levelling the cliffs in its might, as a huge dust cloud was thrown up into the air.

Goku stared down into the wall of smoke, over the gigantic crater in the forever scarred Earth. He never lost track of Uub's Ki signature. "Come on Uub, you aren't fooling me this time I know that level of attack isn't enough to hurt you! Not to mention I can still sense you down there!" He yelled down.

After a long moment, a voice yelled through the clearing smoke. "Are you kidding me, I'm still trying to find the rest of me down here!"

Goku smirked, laughing to himself as he placed his right-hands index and middle fingers on his forehead. "Then wait there, I'll come help you!"

Then his eyes widened at the zipping sound behind him –

"Way ahead of you, Master." He turned instinctively, seeing the same two fingers on Uub's forehead; his teal Gi was ripped and dirt covered. His feet were shoulder width apart, his left leg bent upwards at a forty-five degree angle and an outstretched right arm, with a flayed fingered open palm aimed at him.

Goku gasped. "That's Vegeta's! -"

Uub gritted his teeth. "BIG-BANG –ATTACK!"

WOOSH! The blue ball rushed at Goku who in reflex flared his aura and covered himself with his knee and ducked covering his face his forearms -

BOOM! The attacked burst around Goku: particles on glowing azure rising up around him before fading away. The smoke cleared.

Uub chuckled to himself, Goku's clothing was also ripped and a few small cuts were present around his body. "Good job, I held back right?"

"If that's how we playing it," The Super Saiyan Three Goku pouted, transmitting in front of the crimson covered Uub and smashed his fist in his jaw, Uub spat saliva and fired a kick but it went through the air as Goku transmitted behind the boy with a knee the back of his head. Uub turned with a tornado kick but it hit nothing.

"Where is he?!"

Dizzzit –

WHAM! With a thrust kick to Uub's chest Goku launched him through the air –

Dizzzit –

WHAM! Goku hurtled Uub vertically with an uppercut.

Dizzzit –

WHAM!

WHAM!

Uub halted in the air, bearing his teeth.

"RAH!" Goku fired a jab towards Uub's face.

"Enough," It was said quietly, high-pitched with a hint of malice, Goku's eyes widened as Uub's stepped out of the way and latched onto Goku's arms with his arms.

"Me Buu kill you." A pink aura blasted around Uub, his eyes were pitch-black, red rings for eyes. "KUHA!" He forcefully launched Goku down to the ground with a sonic boom firing behind the warrior.

Goku flipped in the air and got into his stance with a worried look. "That's not Uub's voice...!" Goku bared his teeth as the possessed grinning Uub lifted his hand above his head. In an instant a massive purple sphere of energy formed above his head illuminating everything in a pink light with a horrifying buzzing noise.

"SHA!" He threw his arms forwards at Goku and the gigantic Planet Burst attack flung down towards him.

Goku poised himself, flaring his golden aura around him pushing out his hands and bringer them to his side. "KA-!" An orb of blue Ki built up in his hands. "ME-!" It grew bigger. "HA-!" Beams of light began to escape his fingers. "ME-!" Growling he watched the purple sphere come down towards him.

Goku twisted his body, ripping his hands from his side and forced out his dragon clawed hands. "HA!"

The massive Super Kamehameha thundered out, jetting at high-speeds towards the Planet Burst and crashed into it.

Gale force winds and spherical waves blasted out of the attacks, as the two massive beams created their own gravity field drawing in and atomising various pieces of Earth.

"KU, AH, AH, AH, AH, AH, AH, HA!" The possessed Uub laughed, his attack began to gradually push Goku's down.

"NO!" Goku's feet crushed into the ground. The entire planet was shaking around him!

Satan City-Orange Star University

"What do those two think they're doing? If they aren't careful they'll destroy the Planet!" Gohan shouted sitting in his Office unable to concentrate on grading his students work.

Suddenly he sensed his unconscious daughter Pan heading towards Goku and Uub.

"WHAT?! Please! No! No! No! No! No!" He exclaimed as bead of sweat began to form on his forehead "I've got to stop her!" Gohan took off his glasses, loosened his tie, opened his office window and dashed out towards the battle.

Goku amplified his attack and stopped Uub's from pushing his down. He groaned and gritted his teeth but it was no use! "Uuuuuuubbbb!" He shouted. "You have to stop it please!"

The plea shot through Uub's mind. He blinked his black eyes, and when he reopened them his were normal, white with brown pupils. He stared confused at the purple sphere. "What in the world?" He questioned. "But that's not my technique is it?" Then he realised. "Oh no! Goku?!" He held his palm forward, pointing at the blast in attempts to release the Ki but it was no good the sphere kept ploughing forwards.

Uub trembled he didn't know what to do. "This is my fault... It has to be I fired the attack, I'm Majin Buu I always will be..."

Goku the Earth's hero: all that stood between the Earth's destruction was him and the Kamehameha wave. He had to stop it. 'Come on! Come on! Come on! Move!' Goku added more and more energy to the Kamehameha wave and pushed the attack back but his Granddaughters energy jolted through his mind, losing his concentration.

"Oh no, Pan!" He saw her, mere miles away from the blast, unconscious and being pulled in! Then his attention shot back to beam struggle, his Kamehameha wavered and failed and he watched helplessly as the azure and pink fire combined into a crackling ball of destructive energy between them.
