Hi Guys! This is my first fan-fic. Plz review! Constructive Criticism welcome! P.S. Selena is a NEW CHARACTER (: (: 3 3
Selena's POV
I'm a half-blood. The news was shocking, but I guess it explained all the weird things that had happened to me. The breeze was blowing in my face as if trying to convince me that it was true. I looked at the tiny cabin I was in. The Hermes Cabin. I felt so utterly lost and alone. Like no one understood how I was feeling. I decided to go to the beach; it was the one place I could think to myself. Slowly walking, I gazed up at the starry night sky. They were dazzling in the everlasting wash of black. I reached the beach and chose a rather isolated spot. The sea was roaring with every tide, as if trying to make myself feel more conflicted than ever.
Percy's POV
Annabeth kissed me goodbye and walked to her cabin. I watched her blonde hair sway in the moonlight. Things were going well between her and me. What next? I didn't feel like sleeping but I was too tired to practice sword fighting. I looked at the path that led to the beach and found my self-heading there. I finally reached, and found the beach to myself. At least I thought it was. It wasn't until I glanced at the corner that I say long black hair. Her curls landed neatly on her back. I recognised her from the first night at dinner. Her name was Selena. What was she doing over here? I looked at her deep brown eyes and saw that she was looking lost. Maybe I could cheer her up. I trudged slowly on the wet sand.
Selena's POV
I heard footsteps coming my way. I turned to look and saw a 17-year old with sea-green eyes and black hair. He had a smile on his face. And before I knew what was happening he sat down beside me. His breath felt warm on my cold skin. "Hi." His voice had a sense of uneasiness. I looked at him and saw that he meant well. "You ok?" I wish I knew. With a sense of dread I looked away, hoping he would soon leave. "I know how you feel." His eyes were glistening. "Really? Cause no else seems to. Ever since I came to know to know that I was a half-blood, my life's been going downhill all the way."
"All you need are some friends."
"I do. There's Raina from the Athena Cabin, but she's always busy. So I guess, yeah."
"I'm a friend now, right?"
"I guess… but I don't even know your name. and anyways I don't know anything about you."
"I'm Percy Jackson. Son of Poseidon."
"Cool."
I got up to leave. Anything was better than sitting here talking to a stranger. "Where are you going?" I decided not to answer. It'd be best to prevent him from talking to me. I kept walking, regardless of his comfort. "You'll never fit in if you don't want to…"
Percy's POV
As soon as I said that, I knew I shouldn't have. She sprinted and somehow I knew hot tears trickling down her face.
Thanks for reading. I know its not interesting now, but the next chapters are going to be a bit more to do with the plot. Please read (:
