"And you're going to win!" Roland told him. "Or we lose everything."

"What do you mean?" asked Will.

"He means, we bet everything we have that you will win the tournament." Kate informed him. Jeff smiled. He loved gambling. The group walked on to the sword ring.

"Don't forget to keep your helmet on tight," Kate reminded Will.

"Yes, yes, I know!" He said.

"MY LORDS, MY LADIES, AND EVERYONE ELSE HERE!!!!!!!" Jeff yelled to the stadium. "TODAY, WE ARE ALL BLESSED WITH THE CHANCE TO SEE THE MAN, BORN A THATCHER IN CHEAP SIDE, SON OF JOHN THATCHER, SIR…WIIIIIIIIIILLIAM THATCHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" The crowd roared. They all knew that Will had been knighted by the Black Prince of Whales himself. As the herald for the other knight announced Will's opponent, Roland was telling Will how to defend himself if he was attacked with a side blow.
